Dave Chappelle criticized Israel's bombing of Gaza at a performance in Boston in which the comedian accused the U.S. of aiding the slaughter of innocent civilians. In the show at TD Garden on Thursday, Chappelle first condemned the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas militants, but criticized what he said were war crimes in Gaza, according to people in attendance.
The comments came up when Chappelle said he didn't think students should lose job offers for supporting Palestinians. An audience member's command for the comedian to shut up drew an emotional response from Chappelle, who criticized the Israeli government for cutting off water and other essentials to Gaza and accused it of killing innocent people, according to the attendees.
Some audience members cheered Chappelle on and shouted "Free Palestine,” while others yelled, "What about Hamas," the attendees said. Some in the crowd got up and left. Toward the conclusion of his show, he said of Israeli policies and the Hamas attacks that two wrongs don't make a right, the people said.
A spokeswoman for Chappelle said he "denies being in Boston last night."

Inserting political issues into your routine is NOT FUNNY.
Politics is contentious, and even if the comedian is saying things you agree with politically, it introduces a measure of tension and annoyance because you then start thinking about how F'd the other side is, and so now you're on some level aggravated.
Brian Regan, Jerry Seinfeld .. I'm sure there are others ... do not go into politics.
There is so much humor to be derived from other things in life if they would only look for it.
Right, Maher has the mistaken belief that he is an insightful intellectual jacked in to special knowledge when for the most part he is jacked in to a bunch of BS. He is certainly not an intellectual.
Maybe he's an apostate Muslim.
Israelis are not slaughtering innocent civilians. The definition of slaughter is what Palestinian Arabs are doing. There are few innocents in Gaza, most of them are involved in aiding the slaughter of innocent Israeli civilians (and tourists).
As far as I'm concerned, kill all the Gazans to end the slaughter of Israelis.
Well stated.👍
Oh I recall some kind words Chappelle had for Cosby. He said despite his shortcomings he said remember the microphone MLK jr. used for his I have a dream speech was bought and paid for by none other than Bill Cosby. So almost all is forgiven. /sarc
Well well, F’ You too then Dave.
Maybe he transitioned...
He always made me laugh but I always knew what he is.
A Career-Limiting Maneuver.
Unfortunately, they hide underground like gophers and vermin. Flattening Gaza won't get them all. Fuel/air bombs would suffocate them, suck all the oxygen from the tunnels. Right now I'm dealing with a gopher infestation in my yards. As much as I'd like to use explosives on them, the international community (my neighbors) won't allow that. So it's down to killing them one by one. Similar to what Israel will need to do, get them one by one until the infestation subsides.
His own website says he has shows at the Boston Garden last night and tonight. But the response is very “Chappelle”, lol
I know some people who worked at the Playboy Mansion when Maher hung around there. He was always drunk and the ladies called him “little Bill”.
What we really need is some standup comedy about beheading babies and raping women and children. Don’t forget some terror/torture punchlines. Doesn’t everyone just want to have a good belly-roll about this stuff?
I profess to be a Classic Liberal (conservative now) but not by todays Liberal standards. ( where are all the civil libertarians?)
Communists hijacked the word “Liberal”.
It'll work but you're doing it as a way to criticize "The Squad" on their recent comments regarding Israel.
