Just in time for Halloween. The revenge of the vampire bats!
they’ll side with the Dem Jeffries eventually and he’ll become the next Speaker!
Must be hard to sleep at night.
Correct. Although Trump is not ideologically conservative, he is conservative when it counts most: In his actions.
Did you know it took 15 rounds to get McCarthy elected as Speaker?
Then the dummy McCarthy gave away the House (literally) after meeting with Biden by increasing the Debt Ceiling through January 2025. That means 2 budget cycles.
Were you happy with that?
Noooo. Jordan will be speaker eventually.
Have you listened to what Gaetz had to say about why he did what he did?
I was every bit as angry with him at first.
He is right. Nothing is going to change if no one is going to ever fight the rot.
Inside the Nazi concentration camps there were these, usually Jewish, prisoners called Kapos. They were appointed to act as camp guards to supervise other prisoners
It a flaw in human nature to want cling to a current existence, even in the face of unimaginable horror, rather then fight for a better outcome
People want to cling to a comfortable GOP-E machine rather then wake up that the machine is seriously flawed and needs significant correction.
I would define “positive change” for a Republic Speaker as someone who puts up a good fight for what the base stands. To date that has not happened. With Jordon that may happen.
Pelosi was never a wet noodle. McCarthy was. Big, huge difference.
James, John (MI)...really?
I did not know that. Even Pelosi barely squeaked by. So why is everyone bunching them up over 3 attempts so far?
I thought the vacating of McCarthy was Republicans hitting their thumbs hard with a hammer.
I would support Scalise, but The true nature of his blood cancer (multiple myeloma) becomes a risk to put our eggs in his basket. The DemonKKKrats will take advantage if he suffers a relapse.
Jim Jordan knows the Marxist cancer in the DemonKKKrats. Hakeem Jeffries is for the politics of envy, greed, and control. Jim Jordan will make no mistake about him and the toxic DemonKKKrats exploiting the breakdown in the unity of the GOP. We can thank the GOP led by Matt Gaetz for what their hammers did.
If little me can figure it out, why can’t the GOP get their heads out of their A$$e$? Is it lack of oxygen where the sun don’t shine?
May be we need a vanity?
Here you go if you are interested.

So IMO these SOH votes are all about trading votes for favors and jockeying around to see who can feather their nest in their best interests while forming alliances.
And screw the electorate.
“So, do you have TDS?”
***********
Say what??? Trump was not part of the discussion at all. Your snide remark is not even remotely germane to the thread. Epic fail.
FWIW I’ve supported Trump for years on this forum. So you know what you can do with your TDS BS.
The RINOs long for the gentle lashings of Pelosi.
So do I.
Don’t worry; I did not say it as if it were a bad thing. Any time the leviathan is immobile is good.
Well, we don’t have Jim Jordan to consider any more. He has dropped out. Patrick McHenery may get nominated. He chairs the House Financial Services Committee, which is what his experience will be needed when they battle the budget through with the Marxist DemonKKKrats.
We also have the Israel War (with the massive tunnels in Gaza from which to launch missiles), the Ukraine War (with Russia’s allies) and the impending War with China (with allies like Iran) over Taiwan. All of this after Biden ran down the strategic oil reserve, drove up inflation by driving down domestic oil production and the phony Inflation Reduction Act.
