The House will continue voting in the House Speaker election to replace former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who was removed from the position on October 3rd.

One thing Gaetz accomplished was not only to publicly exposed the individuals in the party who put politics and emotions above conservative principles; he also publicly exposed the level of contempt for conservatives and conservative principles that is persistent in the GOP.

Here is how the game has been played in DC for over 2 decades now.. The US House GOP is told “oh you have to only pass bills that the Senate will vote for and the White House will sign”.
The result is the House GOP consistently passes hard Left Democrats Legislation to “get things done”. The Democrat get all the political benefits while the GOP gets all the blame from the voters. This game has got to stop being played by the GOP. This is a chance to do that.
This is a chance for the GOP to start actively using the power of the US House to say “You want something done Senate? You want something done White House? Here is what we passed. Either vote for it or reject it. We have done our job.”

It has everything to do with Jordan as speaker. If it weren’t for Gaetz having a spine, Jordan wouldn’t even be in consideration, McCarthy would still be making deals with Democrats behind closed doors and stabbing the CONSERVATIVE BASE in the back. And bought and paid for rinos would still be able to follow suit by stabbing the CONSERVATIVE BASE in the back. All while campaigning with promises to appeal to CONSERVATIVE CAUSES only to vote with the democrats and lobbyists.
Perhaps that’s why you HATE Gaetz. Because he works against YOU’RE true ambitions.
It took your HERO McCarthy 15 votes to get him across the finish line. Jordan is only on number 3.
Gaetz simply used the rules of the House to call McCarthy out for lying and backstabbing the base and failing to uphold his promises.

just talked with Kelly’s office and the guy that answered the phone was TOTALLY on board with my message that Kelly needs to vote for Jordan.
Is it what their voters want? If not, they should protest at their offices and homes. Find a primary candidate and bankroll him/her.
