The House will continue voting in the House Speaker election to replace former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who was removed from the position on October 3rd.

Just announced on Newsmax that McCarthy is to nominate Jim Jordan for Speaker. Is it for show or a serious endorsement? Will it help garner more votes from those owned by lobbyists?
He definitely lost a vote because one of the congressmen went to Israel to check it out.

I refuse to vote for a RINO even if it means that a Democrat might win. RINO = Democrat.
One GOP member not present. Rep. Derrick Van Orden, R-Wis traveled yesterday to Israel for a fact-finding mission. He previously voted for Jim Jordan.
I think somebody needs to bring up another nomination such as Representative Byron Donalds. A financial background would be a refreshing change.

I believe in my heart that McCarthy is doing the right thing for his country and wholeheartedly supporting Jim Jordan’s election to Speaker. And that’s what I’m speaking into the present and future.
I see two listing for Simpson. He was on an interview yesterday and rabidly anti Jordan. It’s no surprise he is bought and paid for
Vern Buchanan nominated and voted for Byron Donalds last time.
The longer they don’t have a speaker, the longer the Uniparty is impaired in their ability to legislate against the American people.

Please, please never say or do that.There is some redeeming value to a RINO, not much, but if it allows us to keep the House it is worth the vote. A half loaf is better than no loaf.
A vote or for a Democrat is a vote for the absolute and complete breakdown of the Republic.
Lobbyists and Scalise will be preparing for the back stab I presume.

Somebody actually has to want the job. But this is what’s eventually going to happen.
It should be Kevin Hern of OK. He said he was running to be majority leader when it looked like Scalise was going to be Speaker. He’s got a solid 82% CR Liberty score. That’s in the middle between the pantywaists in the 50th percentile (McCarthy, Scalise and McHenry) and Jordan in the 90th percentile.
