I know you hate Ron but really....this was a good thing.
I’m not sure if the group is making money off of the evacutations.
There was a report I saw that said the group had a good rating on use of donations, though.
That said, if the intent of desanctimonious was to get people out of Israel because there were no commercial flights available, it would seem it would have been more cost effective to fly people to a neighboring country or into europe, than flying across to the U.S and back to where the jets were based.

I am not supporting Gov DeSantis this go around, but kudos to him for taking care of his state’s citizens—although these are dual citizens, or not? But that is a separate issue.
DeSantis has coordinated all this stuff...we now have a special Florida flight going and while it is concentrating on Floridians, non-Floridians can also get on board.
Corey Mills should have gotten more attention and I think he will. He was pretty much an unknown to most people, including here in Florida, so I think the press didn’t pay much attention to him. Just another Florida nutcase. But I think more people are looking at him now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him gain more prominence.
It seems to me that the states are on their own now when it comes to protecting their people. Once upon a time, the US would have been concentrating on evacuating our citizens, but of course, that was in a time when we believed being a citizen was actually important.
Ummm…Trump doesn’t have taxpayers money funding it. However Trump was the first one as a private citizen to help out E. Palestine …pallets of water.
He using budget surplus (extra tax that was collected and not spent) so it’s taxpayers money.
So far I haven’t picked on Ron for this and didn’t intend to.
I didn’t until a couple RDS stooges decided to pick on Trump. You see Trump is supposed to foot the whole bill where Ron gets to use taxpayer funds and then make T shirts to tout what a fine boy he is.

Not true. The B757 can indeed cross the Atlantic. Although non-stop to TLV is not possible, a refueling stop in DUB or MAN, Trump’s B757 could be used.
Commercial airlines stopped flights in and out of Israel, due to fears of being targeted or being hit while on the ground or in the air.
Other companies are flying in and out of Israel, if they choose to take the risk and likely are cleared to do so by Israel.
Corey mills is getting people out of Israel by ground, to another country, and people are getting flights out of there.
desantis is paying a group that was already there, working to evacuate people, for chartered air flights from Israel to Florida.
If the same cost hold, the state of Florida has spent
544 * $13,333 = $7.25 million so far to fly these people to Florida.
Others said there were FAA regulations that restrict how far the planes can be over water with 2 engines
It’s a safety issue, not plane issue.
