Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) signs an executive order banning "woke" terms like "pregnant people" from being used in state government.

Reviewer: This needs to happen Worldwide! Women need to lead the way, with full support from their Fathers, Sons, Brothers, Husbands and all the other important men in their lives and communities.

Reviewer: This is how work should be done in politics. Straight forward, fast, and to the point. Texas resident here and this woman is amazing. Props to all Arkanians!

I’ll be surprised if this one survives the court challenges that are sure to come.

Imagine the ludicrous, mind-warping arguments in favor pregnant males and their right to be called 'pregnant people.'

Interesting.

I agree with Republican Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders in this matter.

It’s not, is banning it for official govt documents/regulations, not banning people from using it.

I don’t think you should ban the language. What you should do is fire people who are obsessed with wokism.

I never thought I would say this, but I just might have to move to Arkansas.

As an “Arkanian” (whatever that is) I must say everytime that Sanders passes a law (Her name is Sanders... she got married. I would like to disallow this hyphenated name BS) those laws and her actions are gravely misunderstood.

Arkansas is a strange state indeed. First off, the state is POOR. It’s been a classically free state where people aren’t so held back by big government and rules to this and that. That means taxes aren’t collected so aggregriously as they are in other places.

Because of that, the social welfare system here isn’t that strong. With today’s costs, even at the higher levels of state and government assistance about half of the state is unapproachable in costs.

Recently she got rid of a child labor law that now has 12 year olds working at McDonalds. That’s in NWA, which is one of the wealthiest areas in the country.
Headlines were quick to tell us about this, but not so quick to tell us that it was originally banned because companies sought to exploit school-sponsored work training programs so they could get basically free labor. Now that the law is overturned and schools can seek out work training programs, the companies are back to use it as cheap labor again.

Most of what Sarah Sanders has given us has been very well-intentioned, but the optics have been ignored. Be careful how the media delivers to you her gubernatorial groundwork in this state.

1st amendment doesn’t apply. This is simply an employer requiring business documents to be written in Standard English.

Arkansas is joining the ranks of Florida, South Dakota, and Texas. Will have to add it to the retirement state consideration list.

And the punishment for saying ignoring the B**** is?
Maybe removal from your job.

Don’t be gullible.

She should also ban embezzlement to fund her vacations.

It’s an internal policy, like a dress code. You can wear short shorts at home, but not at work.

Plain language requirements in statutes, regulations, cobtracts and other public documents have survived legal challenges.
