Erick Peretz and his daughter Ruth – who was wheelchair-bound with cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy — were located by volunteers on Wednesday at the site of the Supernova Sukkot Gathering near the Re’im Kibbutz, where at least 260 Israelis were massacred, according to officials and local reports.
They were “brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists,” Israel wrote on its official X account.
“[My father] was really happy, and everything was fine,” his older daughter Yaarit Peretz, 26, told Israeli outlet Ynet on Monday.
“For years he goes to these parties and takes Ruth, because it makes her really good and she loves it. There were times when he would take her and she didn’t want to come back,” she said.
For days, the Peretz family helplessly wondered whether the pair were killed or had been kidnapped. Yaarit Peretz said she’d heard reports that Erick was seen running away with Ruth in his arms but was unable to confirm any information and still had not heard from them.

Rub out the palistinivermin.
People are discussing the intelligence breakdown leading up to this attack, but I think the intelligence breakdown preventing the Israelis from finding these people speaks volumes more.
A good father spending time with his daughter…..sad
….l
“Breakdown” fabricated to provoke a crisis so that Bibi is propped up as a “wartime leader”....don’t change horses [arses] in the heat of battle.
And President Retard wants to tie Israel’s hands to wipe out the pali-vermin who did this. Did anyone notice that all the Arab leaders except maybe Sisi CANCELLED their meetings with Biden during his visit, realizing that talking to a dementia-ridden retard would be a waste of their time?
Most of the msm have memory holed the original terror attack, you know, the one that started this whole chain of events and, now, it’s big, bad Israel killing paliwogs just because.
We dindunuffin!
I read an article that postulated that all Hamas wanted to do was kill a couple of Israelis, take a couple of hostages, and embarrass the IDF but because of Israeli incompetence, they had an entire day to massacre 1500 unarmed civilians and take 200 hostages.
And now, wholly because of Israeli incompetence, the entire Israeli army is going to raze Gaza to the ground. Poor Palestinians. Victims of their own success.
It was quite a unique take, to say the least.
Like urban thugs they like to victimize people who can’t run away, although they still need to work up their courage by running in packs.
One story of escape the first day said of a girl “She already had to use a crutch for one of her legs and now that she had broken the other one she couldn’t get out with us when all of us ran out when the killers came in shooting. We left her behind.”
It's something that the Vikings used to do. That's why civilized nations have standing armies. So where was the IDF at the border? I'm not talking about an outpost with 10 guards in it. This isn't Denmark. Bibi deserves to get the blame for this fiasco. He's done and he'll be on his way out in a couple of months after this war ends. Knowing the politics in Israel, they'll probably attempt to put Bibi in prison.
I was listening to the Commentary Magazine podcast today (John Podhoretz and friends, great program) and they largely agree. They were talking about how he looks like a defeated man and 10/7 will be his legacy.
They sent in 1500 heavily armed terrorists via land, air and sea in a fairly precise assault to just kill a couple Israelies?
smh
If I were him, I'll probably move to the U.S. It seems to me that it was a **** up on a momentous scale. So Bibi will be crucified for the failings of 10/7.
It would be like trying George W. Bush responsible for what happened on 9/11.
Hamas probably expected to encounter 5000 heavily armed IDF soldiers. Or at least, on paper they were supposed to do that.
They thought they were sacrificing 1500 heavily armed men to kill a couple Israelis?
IMO It is most likely not wholly incompetence or wholly malfeasance or wholly treachery-
it’s most likely some of all of them to produce such a catastrophic outcome.
That’s what they needed to take hostages. War is unpredictable. But they wanted to take as many hostages as they can get so they’ll have leverage over Bibi. But they killed so many civilians so they lost that leverage.
Why it took 12 days to discover their bodies was not answered.
Makes me wonder if there aren't top-level Hamas generals wringing their hands over the bloodlust perpetrated by their junior soldiers, which will now most certainly mean the total annihilation of Hamas, even if Netanyahu is taken out as well.
