I am not a huge fan of Jim (Big Tech) Jordan.
But you still have half the Repubs and all the Dems who support Ukraine aid.
So unless the House leadership is actively going to block it, at least one more round is going to go thru.
If Jordan says as Speaker he won’t allow Ukraine aid, he won’t get voted as speaker.
There is going to be one more round of Ukraine aid before they pull the plug on this slaughter.
“But you still have half the Repubs and...”
NOT TRUE!!!
Over half are opposed to any further Ukraine aid.
Thier is always 1 more round.
The last caucus vote showed 134 members opposed to any further aid.
This is BS. How about the “Speaker” speak for the citizens by brings issues to the floor that the citizens care about? Ukraine is issues 12 or 14. The whole house has to be cleaned out as far as I’m concerned.
>>”If Jordan says as Speaker he won’t allow Ukraine aid, he won’t get voted as speaker.”
Agreed. That’s just the reality. Electing Jordan as speaker isn’t going to solve all our problems, but he moves the center of gravity of congressional Republicans closer to the patriot coalition and further from the GOPe.
