I'm surprised, and a little disappointed, that we on the right don't have people who can dig up dirt like the left does.

Jack Smith knows that against most defendants and especially against political figures, he can use even an invalid conviction that is gained in bad faith and near certain to be overturned to ruin them. Two though can play that game. In truth, Smith and Garland and an entire tier of intermediate DOJ figures and line prosecutors should be investigated and impeached even if the US Senate will not convict them.
A criminal defendant—more than anyone—must have the right to criticize the prosecutor, judge, and process.
