They ARE childish and cannot bring themselves to discuss anything reasonably. As the parlance goes, "they are easily triggered" and quick to use the "RINO Card". They constitute far more than 10% and are one of the reasons I spend less and less time here. It's sad because FR used to be a site where one could go to get quick, thoughtful, well-considered analysis.

I’m not thrilled with Jordan because I don’t think he has the temperament to be that far up in line to be president. He seems too apt to ignore problems that are inconvenient. He was a wrestling coach and he ignored the problem with the doctor examining these young men’s genitals for things that had nothing to do with their genitals. I feel as though he failed a duty of care there. Then there was the raped 9-year-old whose story he dismissed as a lie.

He seems a bit light in the loafers as far as experience with foreign policy and the economy is concerned. He was also given the chairmanship for the house judiciary committee in January despite his lack of relevant experience trying cases. That promotion was already beyond his level of competence.

I would prefer a veteran, preferably someone who has been in command. I would prefer someone with foreign policy and economic experience (not that they have just read about it). I would prefer someone who knows how to function in congress beyond hostage taking and brinksmanship.
