But at the same time, they are like fringe members of a cult. They cannot be expected to see the truth at the core of Islam, nor can they be expected to fix the problem. Oh, they’re trained; you can count on it. And the attack last week had nothing to do with Israeli tanks as targets; it was a quick raid against vulnerable human targets: Go in, hit, kill and capture, and quickly withdraw. Tanks are effective offensive platforms; they are limited as to defensive potential.
Why do people have a hard time understanding this?
I think they do but once it gets to the point where they’re at the front door, armed and wanting to get in to point their guns at you - “understanding why” is the last thing on their minds. It’s survival.
