I don’t know why any small group like that would attack Israel. They know they will get the hell beat out of them.
Israel should use missiles to take out any Hamas houses of government and residences of officials. Then isolate and eliminate the recent intruders. The jihadis will have trouble making decisions at that point.
Maybe that’s why they took hostages. Hoping Israel won’t strike back.
Because they think they can hide amongst other Muslims there and too hard to kill because Israel won’t retaliate to that point. I think this time they have seriously erred.
