JERUSALEM/GAZA/SDEROT Oct 7 (Reuters) - Gunmen from the Palestinian group Hamas rampaged through Israeli towns on Saturday killing and capturing scores of civilians and soldiers in a surprise assault, met by Israel with massive retaliatory air strikes that killed scores in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said the assault that had begun in Gaza would spread to the West Bank and Jerusalem.
“This was the morning of defeat and humiliation upon our enemy, its soldiers and its settlers," he said in a speech. "What happened reveals the greatness of our preparation. What happened today reveals the weakness of the enemy."
In Sderot, in southern Israel near Gaza, bodies of Israeli civilians lay strewn across a highway, surrounded by broken glass. A woman and a man were sprawled out dead across the front seats of a car. A military vehicle drove past the bodies of another woman and a man in a pool of blood behind another car.
"I went out, I saw loads of bodies of terrorists, civilians, cars shot up. A sea of bodies, inside Sderot along the road, other places, loads of bodies," said Shlomi from Sderot.
Terrified Israelis, barricaded into safe rooms, recounted their plight by phone on live TV.
"They just came in again, please send help," a woman identified as Dorin told Israel's N12 News from Nir Oz, a kibbutz near Gaza. "My husband is holding the door closed ... They are firing rounds of bullets."

You don’t have to support Russia, just because you don’t like the money laundering going on over there in Ukraine.
A much better position to take, is to wish for the Russians to lose, as quick as possible. Then no money money goes over there. Duh.
Else, the war will just drag on, leading to even more possible money laundering in the form of Ukraine support going over there. There has to be a war, for more money to be sent. Guess that hasn’t dawned on you yet.
Also, haven’t you seen the recent quotes from Trump, saying he will give even more money to Ukraine than Biden has, if Russia doesn’t surrender their attacks? Shouldn’t that make you want Russia to surrender even more? Knowing Trump would send even more money than Biden, if Russia keeps fighting?
Oh, it's possible. I'm sure that Bibi will receive the most vile threats of all from Western Europe, if he really brings the hammer down hard. Betcha the Pope will invite himself to the discussion, too.

Look back 30 years or so, roughly the same number of people were killed in Rwanda (half a million), and literally everyone that I knew and read from was against the killing there, yet no one was ever called a ‘puppet’ of the Hutu’s or the Tutsi’s. Nope, it was something horrible that likely could have been prevented, but likely certain people* didn’t want a peaceful outcome.

The dumbest one is "Russia can simply go home". The Russian Army is IN the Russian Federation. They're home.
Now, to deal with your second dumbest line: The Russians are exterminating the Ukrainian cannon fodder. The Russians are disarming NATO.

The pressure is on you to provide the evidence, not me. You’re the one making the outlandish claim the weapons Hamas used against Israel today came from Ukraine, and not their allies Iran and Russia. So I’m guessing your attempt at diversion is an admission you have no such evidence of what you claimed, at all. Am I right?

Sorry, but the money will keep going to Ukraine should the war end in a way other than a total Russian victory over the entire country. Otherwise, Ukraine will be the BASKET CASE for the West, just as East Germany was at the end of the Cold War.
And as the money goes to Ukraine, so do the kickbacks to the Democrats (and a handful of RINOs), something that I will NEVER support.

Only if Russia ultimately wins, since Trump is buddies with Putin, at least according to one person on this thread.
That remains to be seen. We just saw a dramatic change today, for example. And Trump said he will give "a lot more" to Ukraine to Russia, than Biden has, too, don't forget. Assuming you knew he's said that recently, which you may not, considering you admittedly don't watch any actual news.

As I said, the sooner it’s over, the sooner money will quit going over there. Trump has said he’s going to give even more than Biden has to Ukraine, if Russia doesn’t surrender their attacks. That means we need Russia to lose, ASAP. They attacked Ukraine first, of course, and are in bed with Hamas who just attacked Israel. There is no reason to even be neutral anymore.
