There's no point in it.
I do the "direct power" thingee, which is similar to throwing a cable with a heavy padlock attached over a power line to get a free electric feed.
You can do that with "news", too. That way, you don't have to listen some fabulist with an agenda spewing bullsqueeze into your ear.
You should try it some time. 
I don’t watch as much as I used to. But you can’t be stuck in an echo chamber, where you only get one side of the story. Many Republicans are just as crooked as the Democrats, and many so called conservative news sources will lie through their teeth just like the MSM. Can’t trust anyone, these days. Be skeptical of everyone, and everything, that is presented before you. Only through your own personal research, and commitment to accuracy and honesty, will you find the truth.
