PERKIOMEN TWP., Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- The Perkiomen Valley school board passed a controversial bathroom policy on Monday night just weeks after voting it down.
The board for the district in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania voted 5-4 in favor of the measure. Board member Don Fountain, who voted against the policy back in September, voted to approve it Monday.
Policy 720 mandates that students must use restrooms that correlate with their sex assigned at birth. It will prohibit transgender students from using bathrooms that align with their gender identities.
The policy opens single-use bathrooms, previously only available to teachers, to all students and staff regardless of gender.

What’s controversial?
That the publik skrewl employees now have to share with the students.
Oh I see. Trying to act sanely is controversial now.
Perkiomen Valley school board passes normal bathroom policy. Fixed the headline.
Crazy that not allowing boys to expose themselves and prey on girls in the girls’ restroom is now considered “controversial”. Brought to you by the “pro-woman” party.
Well when I was in high school building C girls bathroom, was smoke filled and leaking out,

In my small town school, early 60s, it was the boy’s restroom. Staff did not have their own restroom. We had a rather lenient principal, he walked in one day waving his hand in front of his face and said, “the fog’s rolling in thick today boys”, did his bidness, washed his hands and walked back out.
Out of respect for him, all the boys did douse their cigarettes when he walked in.
“The policy opens single-use bathrooms, previously only available to teachers, to all students and staff regardless of gender.”
Yes if “transgender” persons MUST have “special” restroom privileges, single use restrooms should be where they can go, be it the normally teachers or staff restrooms.
Students without gender dysphoria should not have someone else’s gender dysphoria imposed on them in restrooms or gym locker rooms.
Normal and reasonable .
NOT controversial at all.
Only propagandists in the media and groomers (sometimes one and the same) claim it’s ‘controversial’. No normal person does.
