I think that would make Gaetz BRILLIANT!
Gaetz made the right call in leading the ouster of McCarthy. And now, the more that comes to light it reinforces Gaetz actions.
As for Jordan backing McCarthy, I don’t hold that against him. Had he joined with the 8, he would never be able to garner the support of McCarthy moderates needed in order to get him across the threshold to Speaker.
Just food for thought, what if Trump, Jordan and the 8, worked in unison to overthrow McCarthy?

Budgets only require a majority, right?
Republicans have the majority.
In 9 months they came up with nothing. They could have come up with the most fiscally conservative budgets in history. No money wasted on all the nonsense that makes us crazy when Rand Paul comes up with his lists of all the ridiculous outlays. No money for some opera house in SanFran.
And if the democrats didn’t want input, fine.
Present the budget the way they’re supposed to do and let Biden and the Democrats cry foul and justify their insane requests for money. They would be fools. Yes, I know they are but they’d still have to go public.
McCarthy would have been a hero.
What does he do instead, same sh*t they’ve been doing since 2007.
