In a new development on Capitol Hill, acting speaker Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) has mandated former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to vacate her office at the Capitol by Wednesday.
What Happened: According to Politico, an email was sent to Pelosi’s office ordering the former speaker to leave her office space. The email, written by a senior aide from the Republican-led House Administration Committee, explained that the room needed to be cleared for use as a speaker’s office.
"Please vacate the space tomorrow, the room will be re-keyed," wrote the aide, according to the report.
Following the removal of McCarthy on Tuesday, McHenry, a key McCarthy supporter, stepped in as acting speaker. In the House, only a select number of lawmakers are given hideaway offices in the Capitol, in contrast to the Senate’s normal practice.

According to McCarthy, as part of the passage of the recent 45-day clean continuing resolution, Pelosi had promised to not support Gaetz if a motion to vacate was filed. Instead, the former Democrat Speaker stabbed now former Republican Speaker in the back and actually encouraged her caucus not to save McCarthy. In the end, Democrats joined with a small group of Republicans to end McCarthy’s tenure. “
I can’t find the name of it but we were given a tour of an office that Scalise was using. We didn’t see his actual office, but the space had a fireplace that Lincoln used to hold court when he served & there was part of the floor that came up & you could see the original capital stairs. My guess is she has that one or something similar.
That’s on McCarthy. He wasn’t smart enough.
It’s payback for Pelosi not saving McCarthy like she promised.
McCarthy said today she told him if they tried to oust him with Motion to Vacate that she’d always back him up.
According to McCarthy Pelosi told him to accept the Motion to Vacate rules because she’d back him up.
But it happened and she didn’t.
So they’re angry and immediately kick her out.
Obviously she and McCarthy made a deal.
Just imagine the stench of alcoholism fumes in there.
I swear Luntz stole that rug from the now deceased Congressman, James Trafficant.
LOL!! I remember when Traficant was in office, and somebody here photoshopped a picture of him with some kind of critter woven into his toupee. It was either a raccoon, or a gerbil, or some similar kind of animal.
Why didn’t McCarthy do that?

At first l thought so too. Now we find out Kevin thought Pelosi would protect him and she did not. I think McHenry did this because Pelosi and the rats let Kevin go down.
