Congressman Matt Gaetz’s (R-FL) Motion to Vacate the Chair against House Speaker Kevin McCarthy will reportedly be voted on today during house proceedings.
Gaetz threatened to remove Speaker McCarthy last month for being “out of compliance” with the agreement that allowed him to assume his role, not holding the Bidens accountable, and advancing Biden’s inflationary spending, among other things. “Here we are, eight months later, and we haven’t even sent the first subpoena to Hunter Biden,” Gaetz said one week ago on the House floor before calling McCarthy’s announcement of an impeachment inquiry a “rushed and somewhat rattled performance.”
Gaetz even drafted a sweeping subpoena for records that will further reveal Hunter and Joe Biden’s illicit conduct for McCarthy to sign, but he has not.

House leadership is expected to schedule the vote between now and Wednesday or Thursday, according to US Capitol sources. However, according to reporter Jake Sherman, McCarthy says he will bring the Motion to the floor today during the first vote series. It is not clear what time the vote will allegedly happen.

If the Dems are smart, they vote with Gatez and throw the House into chaos the next few weeks. About the only power the Minority party has is obstructionism. This is a perfect opportunity for them to sow chaos without having to bear any of the blame for the chaos
MAGA House Members believe they have the power to remove McCarthy, which they don't - not without help from the Democrats.
If they get that help, the price is going to be Jeffries as Speaker.

If Congress were serious they’d be going after the people who installed the POTATUS.
I could easily see the Dems not giving him the votes and saying something along the lines of “If the Republicans can’t manage their own house why should the manage the people’s house”
Last report is Gatez has 4 GOP votes. My guess is he has the Democrats agreeing to vote with him. Perfect opportunity for the Dems to shut down the US House. Obstructionism is about the only power the Minority party has. This is a perfect opportunity for the Dems to create chaos.
I'm surprised if they support McCarthy.
I’m most concerned about budgeting.
If proper budgets are not prepared, lots of dubious things get funded.
Hunter is a sleezebag but that was known before the 2020 election.
We should not do the work of going after Joe Biden when Democrats hungry for office can have a whack at him.
Time will put Joe Biden out of office in 15 months.
