The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine has been awarded to a pair of scientists who developed the technology that led to the mRNA Covid vaccines.

Dr Katalin Kariko and Dr Drew Weissman will share the prize.

The technology was experimental before the pandemic, but has now been given to millions of people around the world.

The same mRNA technology is now being researched for other diseases, including cancer.

“Malone says he deserves credit for more than just sparking hope. He dropped out of graduate school in 1988, just short of his Ph.D., and went to work at a pharmaceutical company called Vical. Now he claims that both the Salk Institute and Vical profited from his work and essentially prevented him from further pursuing his research. (A Salk Institute spokesperson said that nothing in the institute’s records substantiates Malone’s allegations. The biotech company into which Vical was merged, Brickell, did not respond to requests for comment.) To say that Malone remains bitter over this perceived mistreatment doesn’t do justice to his sense of aggrievement. He calls what happened to him “intellectual rape.”

One target of Malone’s ire, the biochemist Katalin Karikó, has been featured in multiple news stories as an mRNA-vaccine pioneer. CNN called her work “the basis of the Covid-19 vaccine” while a New York Times headline said she had “helped shield the world from the coronavirus.” None of those stories mentioned Malone. “I’ve been written out of the history,” he has said. “It’s all about Kati.” Karikó shared with me an email that Malone sent her in June, accusing her of feeding reporters bogus information and inflating her own accomplishments. “This is not going to end well,” Malone’s message says.

Karikó replied that she hadn’t told anyone that she is the inventor of mRNA vaccines and that “many many scientists” contributed to their success. “I have never claimed more than discovering a way to make RNA less inflammatory,” she wrote to him. She told me that Malone referred to himself in an email as her “mentor” and “coach,” though she says they’ve met in person only once, in 1997, when he invited her to give a talk. It’s Malone, according to Karikó, who has been overstating his accomplishments. There are “hundreds of scientists who contributed more to mRNA vaccines than he did.”

Malone insists that his warning to Karikó that “this is not going to end well” was not intended as a threat. Instead, he says, he was suggesting that her exaggerations would soon be exposed. Malone views Karikó as yet another scientist standing on his shoulders and collecting plaudits that should go to him. Others have been rewarded handsomely for their work on mRNA vaccines, he says. (Karikó is a senior vice president at BioNTech, which partnered with Pfizer to create the first COVID-19 vaccine to be authorized for use last year.) Malone is not exactly living on the streets: In addition to being a medical doctor, he has served as a vaccine consultant for pharmaceutical companies.

By definition, a drug that has been through extensive clinical trials, the results of which were used to convince the FDA that the drug is safe and effective enough to grant regulatory approval is not “experimental.”

The only way you can get an experimental drug is if you volunteer to participate in a clinical trial. If you volunteer, you will be briefed as to the purpose of the drug and the risks and benefits of participating in the trial. You will then sign a consent form that stipulates that you have the right to withdraw from the trial at any time.

If you have not consented to participate in a clinical trial, then any drug you receive is FDA approved. This is a matter of federal law.

You do realize that all food you eat is chock full of mRNA, don’t you? mRNA is a primary and essential component of all living organisms and viruses. If you could remove all mRNA from your body, you would die.

Also, I don’t know what got into Robert Malone, who is apparently saying this nonsense. He was not a kook when I spent a few weeks doing a research project in his lab, but he sure is spreading the misinformation now. No, he was not an early mRNA vaccine researcher. He was trying to develop a gene therapy for cystic fibrosis (gene therapy is DNA, not RNA). He was studying the HIV virus. My project was to examine the process of how nanolipid micelles merge with cell membranes.

My impression of Bob was that he was rather leftist, and his wife was quite leftist. The only think I can think of is that he is trying to spread misinformation among conservatives so that we will be more likely to die from Covid and other diseases. Just like RFK, Jr. and Naomi Wolf are doing.

The purpose of a phase 4 trial is to keep studying a drug that has already received FDA approval. Sometimes, an adverse effect is so rare that it will not be observed in the phase 1, 2, or 3 trial populations. Adverse events in people receiving the drug are reported to the FDA, further investigation is done, and, if the FDA deems necessary, the drug is pulled from market. (Read about Vioxx.)

I will stress that any drug in phase 4 is NOT an experimental drug. Furthermore, any drug you are prescribed is, technically, a phase 4 drug.

mRNA does not contain graphene.

While both mRNA and graphene contain cyclic rings of carbon, they are structurally quite different.

Your body is literally full of mRNA. You have it in every single cell. Without it, you would die. In addition, the mRNA in your body is not all human mRNA—you also have virus, bacteria, and fungal mRNA in your body (because a lot of microorganisms live in your body), as well as the mRNA from the food you eat.

The modification of the mRNA used in vaccines is to prevent the immune system from destroying the mRNA as soon as it is injected. Since pathogens contain mRNA and other forms of RNA, the immune system considers any RNA that is not enclosed in a cell as a threat that has to be destroyed. A vaccine needs to be present for a prolonged period of time (days) in order for the immune response to develop properly. If the mRNA in the vaccine is destroyed immediately, no immune response can occur.

On Monday I just went to a local Farm that’s been raising cattle here since 1935, same Family and they is also have a Veterinarian in the Family so they are raising cattle organically. It’s a bit more spendy than the grocery store but it’s butchered every week and aged 14 days, vacpacked all local. I’m making a Pot Roast right now and the meat is excellent !!! I just tasted it.

I was trained to be a scientist when I was young, and I respect evidence. Just because something is labeled as “a vaccine” does not necessarily make it safe and helpful.

And I would also suggest that you shouldn’t expect the MSM “news” to tell you the truth about drugs and vaccines. A large part of their advertising revenue comes from pharmaceutical companies, and if they ever published or broadcast the sort of story that Epoch Times did, that advertising revenue would cease. You'll see Enrollment (Actual) on both but it's for the full time span. If you click the Record History tab, you can go back and see that there were not many trial participants by the time these things rolled out to the masses worldwide.

In any case, trial start dates of early/mid 2020 and rolling them out to the masses in late 2020, early 2021 isn't much of a long term trial for a novel vaccine delivery mechanism for a, possibly(probably) man-made new virus.

No country has yet denounced the climate change crisis. Does that mean the climate change crisis is real? No, it is actually a fraud, as Trump has recently gotten around to saying.

The test of scientific truth is not government opinions or even expert opinions. It is evidence, and only evidence. That is why Richard Feynman wrote “Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts.” And the most reliable medical evidence is all-cause mortality. Unlike Schrodinger’s mythical cat, we are all either alive or dead.

I have an Ivy League degree in science, and in my 20s I had a genius IQ (Stanford Binet 158+). But none of that makes me correct about the Covid vaccines; what makes me correct is the evidence. Of course there are also medical experts, like Drs Malhotra and McCullough, who agree with me that the covid vaccines are quite dangerous.

My unscientific observation is that people with bad manners tend to live the longest, so I predict that in spite of your obstinate foolishness you will survive the Covid vaccines! LOL
