President Biden on Sunday expressed exasperation with Republicans in Congress after lawmakers narrowly averted a government shutdown and said he hoped the drama of the last few weeks has led Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) to a “personal revelation.”
“Folks, the truth is we shouldn’t have gotten here in the first place. It’s time to end governing by crisis and keep your word when you give it in the Congress,” Biden said at the White House after signing a temporary government funding bill late Saturday.

Brinkmanship? When houserinos cave? There is not brinkmanship. It should have been no nothing doing. Here is what “we” get or your get nothing, and for a few trillion it needs to be a long list.

Biden has bigger things to worry about. As an unrepentant sinner, Biden is dangling over the
pit of hell suspended by a mere thread. At any given moment that thread could snap. Each
tick of the clock brings that moment ever closer.

At least that’s what the teleprompter said. Did he have the dark red ominous shadowy podium this time?

Biden is ‘sick and tired’ of brinksmanship? Who knew?
He certainly practices brinksmanship himself, but that means nobody else can?
Plenty of blame to go around. When is Biden going to assume the duties of the Office of the Presidency? So far all he has done is abuse the privileges that go along with the title.

Just watch. Sometime in the next few months, there will be a proposal to just allow the executive branch functionaries propose, debate and accept the annual budget. I am sure it will be proposed in language that Hollywood celebrities and professional athletes will understand and agree with.
This will eliminate these annual threats of ‘disastrous’ government shutdowns and make the almighty federal government much more efficient.
