RFK Jr.'s Independent Run Is Why Republicans Lose

As RedState reported, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is set to launch an independent presidential campaign after first challenging Joe Biden for the Democratic Party nomination.

According to multiple sources, the official announcement will come on October 9th in Pennsylvania.

2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to announce he will run as an independent on October 9 in Pennsylvania, Mediaite has learned.

Kennedy’s campaign machine is now planning “attack ads” against the Democratic National Committee in order to “pave the way” for his announcement in Philadelphia about running as an independent, according to a text reviewed by Mediaite.

This is not good news for Republicans, and there's empirical evidence to back that up. According to the latest polling, RFK Jr. enjoys a very high approval rating among Republicans while he's extremely disliked by Democrats.

If this does happen (and it's a big if!) it could easily backfire on the GOP nominee. Kennedy is significantly more popular among Republican voters than among Democrats. In fact, the two people I just quoted above were some of RFK Jr.'s biggest promoters, and they are hardly alone on the right. Many conservatives, specifically those skeptical of the COVID-19 vaccines, latched onto RFK Jr. very early in the cycle as some kind of anti-establishment figure. In fact, the only reason he has much of a platform today is because of right-wing media.

This is an old saw. Bush the Elder was a crappy President…going back on No New Taxes was just one of his mistakes. The only good thing he did was Justice Thomas.

Reagan fans who voted for Bush were put off by this bozo and his wife, who promised kinder, gentler statism, ie we aren’t going to be like the Reagans because we never liked them. 1,000 Points of Light, New World Order….in some ways, Bush 1 inaugurated all the conspiracy theorists who lean right.

In short, Bush was repellant to Reagan fans. The only people who were going to vote for this loser in 1992 were the were the dwindling National Review subscriber base, and Rockefeller Republicans who welcomed their returning country club overlords.

Perot was a shot across the bow of the Uniparty. That Uniparty revolt started earnestly in Pennsylvania in 1991 when Harris Wofford defeated Republican/Uniparty pick Dick Thornburgh after John Heinz died in a plane crash. Wofford was about 40 points behind, but caught a populist wave to win the election.

Perot voters were going to sit home and not vote. Everyone I knew who voted for Perot were Reagan fans who thought Bush was incompetent. And they would never vote for some hayseed Dem Gov who didn’t inhale with a succubus for a wife. It was Perot or Love Boat reruns.

Same with RFKjr. People who’ll vote for him wouldn’t vote for Bidet or Trump in the first place; they would likely be sitting at home watching TikTok or OnlyFans instead of mailing it in.

The only redeeming value of the Clintons was giving us President Trump and one of the greatest political victories ever. There is a lotta carnage in that value though…the murder of Ambassador Stevens, millions of dollars not make its way to Haiti, and so on.

Many people are talking about this today; it is an interesting dynamic.

According to Mediaite with the exclusive first story, Robert Kennedy Jr. will announce his transition from a candidate on the Democrat ticket to a candidate on the Independent ticket for the 2024 presidential contest.  RFK Jr. will make the announcement on October 9th, in Pennsylvania.

My thoughts are the same today as they were when we first discussed RFK Jr.

None of the Lightbringer’s supporters/voters and ballot harvesters are going to support RFK Jr.  None of the leftists who follow social media or traditional media influence operations, the sheeple masses, are going to vote for RFK Jr.  None of the party Democrats are going to vote for RFK Jr.  None of the Gavin Newsom supporters are going to support RFK Jr.

So, who will vote for RFK Jr?

ANSWER: Two core groups.

#1) Ron DeSantis supporters.  When RdS drops out, his coalition of support, the Never Trump Republicans, will flow to RFK Jr. 

#2) Approximately one-third of unregistered, unaffiliated or what we would call “independent” voters.  About a third of them.

Independents will fracture into three subsets. 

• Approximately 1/3 supporting Gavin Newsom.
• Approximately 1/3 supporting Donald Trump. 
• Approximately 1/3 supporting Robert Kennedy Jr.

With DeSantis Republicans and one-third of independent voters, that’s the RFK Jr. coalition.

As I said from the outset, RFK Jr. is the intelligence community insurance policy against the threat of Donald Trump.

RFK Jr. running as an independent will tilt the election to Gavin Newsom.

Stop thinking about RFK Jr. taking votes from Biden.  Unfortunately, this will be the narrative; this will be what is polled.  However, Joe Biden will not be the DNC nominee.

The correct question is, what does RFK Jr. running as an independent do to the 2024 contest when it is Gavin Newsom -vs- Donald Trump?

In that scenario, the motives and intentions of RFK Jr. taking votes from Biden, because Joe Biden is a blithering idiot, disappears.  Democrats will happily stick with Newsom…. which is exactly why his visibility is everywhere right now.  It’s an op.

RFK Jr. running as an independent, is part of that op.

Reset your reference point to the baseline where the intelligence operatives do not want you to be.  When someone starts asking the question about RFK Jr. taking votes from Biden, stop them immediately.  Joe Biden will not be the nominee.  With Gavin Newsom as the DNC candidate coming out of Chicago, what does RFK Jr. do to THAT contest with Trump?  That’s the question.

You all know the answer.

It doesn’t take much of a guess to know where Trump’s votes go if the NeverTrumpers are able to take him out, and it WILL NOT be to the Republican or Democrat nominee.

That's become blatantly obvious when only 14% of Democrat Voters like RFK JR, and the Never Trumpers in the GOPE will do anything to keep Legit President Trump away from the White House.

I'd previously said I'd help get RFK JR on the ballot here in HELLINOIS to siphon votes away from Biden and try and swing this shit-hole state to Trump. That may be a valid strategy in deep blue states like HELLINOIS, highly doubtful that strategy would work elsewhere. Given the limited use case for this strategy, I hereby rescind my support for it.

Legit President Trump vs. Illegitimate pResident Biden is the best way to go.

While I think he is in it to interfere with Trump’s nomination/election, why not let Newsom run and win of they feel that the Newsom will be the great alternative to Biden? Is Kennedy the insurance policy? Caroline Kennedy picked Biden as VP for Obama so why are they against Biden and for Newsom? Is it all to get Dem elected even though Kennedy is being denied DD protection from Biden/Dems? Ok those are my questions—just looking for answers.
