Viewers of the second Republican National Committee (RNC) debate blasted the RNC as well as Fox News for including Univision as a partner in the event.
The debate kicked off with Univision anchor Ilia Calderón opening up the debate by speaking Spanish, telling viewers that the candidates are trying to win them over.

But the irritation of the inclusion of Univision only grew throughout the night, as moderators asked about “gun violence,” amnesty, Obamacare, and more.
“It’s a good thing Univision is an official media partner of this debate so issues that matter Republican voters are covered — said not one Republican primary or caucus voter,” Sean Spicer observed as one commenter remarked, “It was pretty obvious when they tried to get the candidates to sign on to amnesty.”
“Why do we continue to get questions from the left from Univision?” David Limbaugh asked. “No wonder we’re in the mess we’re in.”
“Univision moderator advocates big time for open borders and amnesty,” the Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway observed. “Candidates handled it fairly well.”
“Is this an msnbc debate?” Megyn Kelly asked.
Others expressed similar sentiments:

Why is this Univision person here? Her questions are dumb. #GOPDebate— Kurt Schlichter (@KurtSchlichter) September 27, 2023
Unwatchable.
By the way, the left-leaning Reagan Library would be wholly unrecognizable to the President whose legacy they purport to carry on.
And the Univision editorial contributions to this debate are absurd.
Trump wins again by not legitimizing any of this.— Cliff Sims (@Cliff_Sims) September 27, 2023
Stupid PC lickspittle sucking aholes. It was ridiculously unwatchable.
A “debate” that had no relevance to anything or anyone…
The comedy that is the Uniparty/globalist/establishment Republican “primary” is beyond ludicrous
And many times unlistenable and unintelligible.
It’s likely that secretly most candidates wanted to sign onto amnesty- but didn’t dare to do so lest they lose what remaining little support they have and expose themselves as blatant rinos (They think we don’t know- but yeah- we do)
Yes, disgusting that Univision anchor Ilia Calderón there. She couldn’t even speak English. Loved the cringing looks from several candidates as she tried to ask a question.
Bazaball been berry berry good to me!
Debate?
Cringy virtue-signaling by dumbed-down Leftists and liberals is no way to run a "news" network.
Actual Americans are tired of all this juvenile BS.
Why not Klingon also? If you want to attract science nerds to the debate, at least one person present should speak Klingon. That’s just as good an idea as someone speaking Spanish.
The only thing that would have made this farce interesting is if Stuart Varney had the good sense to stand up and walk out.
I had to put on closed caption, but the delay was irritating. I turned it off.
Trump is a genius
Aw come on, Fox is inclusive... they even have pronouns in their email signatures.
The Mexico, Central and South America demo be representin’... don’t be WAISISTS.
.
I missed the entire part of the biggest Presidential Scandal in history.
The whole subject skipped and Joe Protected again.
LOL
I always learn from debates, tonight being no exception.
Christie? Did better than usual until he blew it completely on Ukraine.
Haley was too into catfighting. Really hurt her other excellent responses.
Viviswany did okay, off the deep end here and there. Might be second place.
Tim Scott did quite well, might also get second place.
DeSantis was always on point, and always presidential. Winner, but lots of excellent competition.
No also rans, all gave us some good reasons to feel good about being GOPers.
