Mearsheimer is great! He’s been singing the same song for over a decade, and knows Russia, Ukraine, NATO history.
The US State Department is to blame for this fiasco, especially that insane warmonger, Nuland. Master of Color Revolutions, sponsored by the USA, through the CIA.
She’s started more wars than anyone in recent history.
And had Russia not, innocent ethnic Russian women & children would still be getting shelled by the Kiev government. I've explained this before to you yet you still choose to remain ignorant.

A number of accounts were dormant (or virtually dormant) until the Ukraine War started, so it’s best to keep that in mind when trying to figure out motivations.
In my lifetime, the U.S. has invaded more sovereign nations and destabilized more foreign governments than the rest of the world combined. The hypocritical pontificating among American government leaders and even many people here on FR about the Russian invasion of Ukraine has been nauseating, to say the least.
Who engineered a coup of the duly elected President of Ukraine?
Why was the first Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2014 that resulted in the annexation of Crimea unopposed? What did the US and Europe do in response? Nothing happens in a vacuum. The predicate goes all the way back to the decision to expand NATO after the collapse of the Soviet Union. In 1997 George Kennan bluntly stated, “that expanding NATO would be the most fateful error of American policy in the entire post-cold-war era.” He was right.
The media is replete with stories about the shelling of innocent women & children in the Donbas by Kiev. Upwards of 14,000 civilians were killed. Do some rudimentary research and come back if you care to.
