Many people expect a naval war with China to be basically aimed at supply chains that are not close to China. They don’t seem good at power projection and have depended on the US to keep the sea lanes open. If the US decides to cut off their access to oil from the Middle East, resources from Africa, or food from wherever, China will be in real trouble. It would not be hard for us, and would not likely involve a lot of actual naval battles. China is heavily dependent on both import and export and they are vulnerable in this way.

The powers around China could effectively block all shipping in and out of China. The thing to remember is China is not a self sustaining nation. Cut off western money flow, cut off raw material, cut off exports and China is a nation of a Billion people with no way to feed themselves.
Why, two reason corruption from top down and central planning from top down. Now if China was a true capitalist country I would be worried because they do have the ability to be powerful, but with the level of corruption it will not happen (without aid from Western Leaders).

You seem to have forgotten... or are ignoring... the fact that the ChiComs know they have friends and cohorts running and ruining America currently. There is no way the Obiden regime will go up against China. If anything, they’ll be working behind the scenes to make shock-sure that America loses....again and still.
