The Republican National Committee has confirmed the roster for the second primary debate: North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy, and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott. Former President Donald Trump will not attend, but will instead address striking auto workers in Michigan.

I plan to watch.
I’m interested in what they have to say.
I know we’re supposed to think that all these guys and gal on the stage are losers and who cares what they say. But one of them may well be Trump’s running mate. Others may have roles in a Trump Administration.
And no matter happens in the 2024 election, many of these people may well be leaders of the Republican party in years ahead. So I’m interested in hearing what they have to say.
