New Jersey Rep. Andy Kim launched a primary challenge to Sen. Bob Menendez on Saturday as more Democrats joined the call for the senior Democratic senator to resign after an indictment on federal bribery charges.
“After calls to resign, Senator Menendez said ‘I am not going anywhere.’ As a result, I feel compelled to run against him. Not something I expected to do, but NJ deserves better. We cannot jeopardize the Senate or compromise our integrity,” Kim said on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Menendez and his wife, Nadine, are accused of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars and a Mercedes-Benz convertible as bribes in exchange for Menendez using his position as senator and chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee to aid three New Jersey businessmen who were also charged, and to benefit the Egyptian government.

Anybody who says “integrity” and “New Jersey” in the same sentence is a sociopath for sure.
Why are they OK with Biden taking more bribes than Menendez ever did?
Why did they wait from June of 2022 when they busted him until now to reveal it? Any journalists asking that?
Of course we learned.
If we hadn’t Deep State wouldn’t need to steal our elections.
The question is why Deep State is doing this with Menendez.
If it’s to send a message to its minions not to wander off the rez, then we gotta wonder what could be scaring them enough to make Deep State doubt their loyalty.
Menendez had the audacity to question the wisdom of paying ransom to the world’s chief sponsor of terrorism back a couple of weeks back. No surprise here. He’s been spanked, and kicked off the island. This never would have made the news if he’d not gotten out of line.
The other Andy Kim has given more joy and happiness to Americans than this one ever will. Keep fighting, Bob Menendez, Never give up!
I take it Rep Kim will be voting for the articles of impeachment brought against Buyden.

What I cannot understand is why ANY high-profile politician would pile up cash in their residence. Bribes I can understand, but what did he plan to do with the cash - buy a car, or a house, or stick it in the bank. Try that, but you better disconnect your doorbell, as it will be ringing shortly thereafter.
