Wow, that's great. I once had the flu about 30 years ago. My wife and I are unvaxxed, in our 70's, and rarely get a cold (last one about 20 years ago). Despite being overweight and pre-diabetic. Wife wears a mask in crowds because of reduced immunity due to cancer treatments. But I never wear a mask. People we know around us that got vaxxed are always getting sick (and some died from mysterious ailments).
I had it in 2021 and have the persistent antibodies to prove it. The Red Cross even uses my blood for special purposes because of the antibodies. It was a nasty flu, I got pretty sick, but I always get pretty sick from the flu because it always progresses into a sinus infection.
My question to you is “What is different about Covid that requires the complete shutdown of the world and total suspension of individual rights?”
It is a serious question. Why did we never have to do this with a flu before? Is it because it was manmade? Is it because Bill Gates and Company had succeeded in setting up global pandemic mechanism so they could take control of the world using it as an excuse?
I repeat my question: What is different about Covid that justifies abolishing all world governments and placing the World Health Organization in charge of everything?
“Maybe it’s 52 years of tobacco smoking!?”
Same here (although more like 35 years) - I can’t remember the last time I had a cold or the flu and never got symptomatic COVID. Our respiratory systems must be a toxic environment for viruses.
(Don’t take up smoking, kids, you’ll regret it)
If the spike still does the damage, how are we 'immune' when it come from CoVID?
Since the WuhanFlu was never isolated it was always suspect as nothing more than influenza. The lie was obvious once every Dr was ordered and then incented to mark all deaths as “with Covid”, rather than “by”.
This has been a scam all along in order to justify $$$ to Pharm (with kickbacks) and then shutdowns so mailin ballots can corrupt every election forever.
So long as mailins are allowed there is no chance of an honest election.

I can’t recommend smoking but, then again, I can’t recommend the “vax” either.
Full disclosure; I have no experience with the latter. :)
“I can’t recommend smoking but, then again, I can’t recommend the “vax” either.”
As a pureblood I can’t recommend the vax either. Didn’t want it and didn’t need it even as a 50 something with a couple of comorbidities. Might have had the ‘Rona once but didn’t test and whatever it was could have been summer allergies.
“SARS and MERS more deadly...”

Novel zoonotic viruses are deadly by immunological naivete.
Covid-19 looked to me like it would be as deadly as SARS but way easier to catch and to spread. Glad I was wrong.
Here is a link if you want to get specific into that:

ScienceDirect.com is still running open access. I have a login through Elsevier, but I think you can read there for free. On the home page in the search box labelled, “Find articles with these terms”, you should enter “nsp14 mutations” to find these and other interesting articles.
Here is an article on Covid-19 fatalities:

Forgive me ifinnegan if these articles are not written for the layman, as I am not smart enough to simplify or summarize what I am reading here, though I think I understand it.
I can tell you what I know/believe, but please take it for what it is worth. I am no expert!
I followed the research by Terrence Tumpey at the CDC as he was reconstructing the 1918 "Spanish" flu. What he learned was that he had to get all the non structural proteins there in the right order to have the explosive replication that proved to be so fatal in 1918. Dr. Tumpey says,
“The HA and PB1 virus genes of the 1918 virus are essential for maximum replication and virulence.”
In 2009, please correct me, he was able to get the same virulence in a bird flu, and it became apparent that there was no stopping a 1918 pandemic from happening again. The CDC alerted the president and Obama instructed the government to begin studying pandemic response.
From time to time among other things, they ran war games with politicians and computer models. Nothing the politicians ever did was enough. For example the epidemiologists would advise them to close the roads, but they refused to do so unless there were enough cases. But once there were enough cases then it was too late to stop the spread. They failed every single time, I believe.
The real government's real response to the coronavirus was certainly another iteration of failure.
They didn’t have the same degree of cleanliness in 1918.
And that all sounds like the same old scare hype used to control the weak-minded.
This has been my experience with COVID for the past several months - sniffles, a few sore throats.
