Ukrainian armoured vehicles have smashed through a gap in Russian defences on the Zaporizhzhia front, it has been reported.

Eight-wheeled Stryker and tracked Marder Infantry Fighting Vehicles were seen behind Russian tank traps and dragon's teeth near Verbove - suggesting a potential Ukrainian tactical breakthrough in the area.

Russia analyst for The Institute for the Study of War, George Barros, said the news could mean Kyiv was preparing for another big push.

"fortunately, there will be no cut-off of Western aid, either"

Poland says otherwise.

Yes, the initial invasion. Now 18 months later, all their initial war gear is all gone, blown up, destroyed, and spent. They are ENTIRELY dependent on the west.

Well, duh. The biggest country in the world has been invading and genocidally erasing Ukrainian cities for near two years. Why does it bother you so much Ukrainians have friends and allies who have a shared history of mass murder at the hands of the Kremlin?

I was using a map. Do you get your news from Pravda?

Who in hell uses a map? Who drew said map?

Geezus... Shoulder a weapon and go help if you’re enthusiastically compelled. Not likely...

Douche....

Sorry to disappoint but that’s Fake News. Poland had a meeting with Ukraine today. Their shared history of Kremlin orchestrated genocide is much stronger binding than the passing political disagreements.

“Isn’t it hilarious to see the Russian army digging in like scared rabbits?”

Why shouldn’t they? They have said they have no desire to govern Ukrainians.

They said they only wanted to take the land that was theirs, which they now have.

It is interesting how we’ve gone from the Ukrainian army being caught in a “cauldron” from a Russian offensive to exactly the same thing from a Russian defensive posture. Hilarious, really.

The reality is the Russian military is fake and Potemkin. Some of its best leaders have been bombed out the Russian sky by Putin. Only intentionally limited aid by the Biden admin & EU has saved the Russian army from total defeat at the hands of Ukrainian citizen soldiers.

yes, it is fake

and Poland has had many bad experiences of Soviet/Russian rule, so they’re on the same side as Ukraine, despite minor quibbles

but of course, the Russian shills here on FR have trouble accepting that reality ...

No, they do not. Putin has insanely claimed the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia. 800,000 people. The Russian army has never been near it. It’s far away from were scared Russians dig their trenches and hope not to die for nothing tonight.

It’s sad to see such a basic lack of understanding of the facts at hand among FReepers. Conservatives must be better than that.

The Russians are able to bridge any gaps in the front and pour troops in there. Now that they are on the defense, it’s much easier for them to do that. There are supposed to be around 420,000 Russian troops in Ukraine.

Opinions do vary, indeed.

I’m talking about facts though.

Russia’s Naval fleet is in full panic mode, suffering mass destruction :

You remember the $$billion Moskva flagship? GONE.
That was only the beginning of the party...

Now the Russian Black Sea Fleet takes a near daily beating:

They lost their main ship yard : GONE

One of their best stealth ultra modern submarines : GONE

Lately, several large landing ships were destroyed. Tactically, and logistically speaking that’s a disaster for Russia.

All those Russian Pigs (I meant Migs, sorry for the typo) destroyed on the ground...
In a desperate move Russians are now covering their planes with mountains of old tires!! This is crazy! any way many of them destroyed : GONE

They have lost (for the third time now) their multi-billion S400 systems . supposedly “untouchable” and the world’s most advanced... GONE

The list is long..... it’s official and all over the internet.

But what is important is this:

Russia has already spent 169 billion dollars on this botched, miscalculated Kremlin war. Remember that Russias entire economy is about the same as Italy... So, relatively speaking 169 billion dollars is a monstrous amount.
That amount isn’t even taking into account the many billion dollars destructions I told you about above...

Also, 200.000 dead Russian citizens (soldiers).

Don’t you think the Russian people are fed-up with their warmongering deep-state politicians? The Kremlin is abusing their own people, because of their yearning for power, Lebensraum, caviar, and champagne.
They let their people drink the Vodka though - so they can drench their sorrow in something...

Russia’s Ruble is in slow crashing mode...

and...

Russia hikes rates to 13% in scramble to lower inflation and prop up the sagging ruble

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

No.
You don’t seem to understand what is going on.
Ukraine want Russian invaders OUT of their homes and land.
That is all.

Is that too much to ask for?
Isn’t it a patriotic act to defend one’s country?
Are the Ukrainian people un-patriotic when they try to fend off a Russian Antifa-style invasion and destruction of their country?

Believe me, I understand what is going on.

All too well.

Turns out, it's an orca.

The only thing you need to have heard about this Ukraine thievery is:

“Well, son of a bitch...”

Our fearless leaders have put the USA in to what’s akin to a dead cat bounce.
