Thursday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) criticized the U.S. government’s approach to Ukraine.
Hawley said there was an anticipation by those proponents to continue “writing checks to Ukraine” forever.
“[A]t some point, the American people will have their say on this and four more years of Biden, without a doubt, means four more years of war for the United States,” host Laura Ingraham said. “Is that what Americans want — four more years of war?”

It is still unclear to me what the American vital interest in Ukraine is.
I know we’re supposed to be on the side of Ukraine , because Ukraine was invaded by Russia, and Russia started the war, and Putin is the bad guy and all of that.
But just because we decided that Ukraine are the good guys in Russia are the bad guys, does that imply that we need to be giving so much military and financial aid to Ukraine?
Putin and Zelensky take turns raping Lady Liberty. They played the Biden Administration like a fiddle. Don’t think North Korea, Venezuela, Syria, and China, aren’t laying out their schemes too.
“They” get rich off of bankrupting us.
The enemy for the past 30+ years has been here, not abroad.
You mean like we do to Afghanistan??
It is still unclear to me what the American vital interest in Ukraine is.
It’s why I retired a couple of years ago. I now pay zero taxes (except for very low sales tax) and live off SS. The freedom I feel now is indescribable. To be clear, my “retirement plan” wasn’t to retire with lots of money. Rather, it was to retire NEEDING LITTLE MONEY. I have a 32 acre garden of eden, fully paid for, and the annual property taxes are the price of a loaded pizza every month. And that includes two streams, my own gun range, etc. I had to move from Seattle to a “low cost” state to do it, but it was worth it. I love it here. And nobody bothers you. The funny part is you can’t go grocery shopping or hit the local coffee shop without seeing people you know. Love it.
Afghanistan and Iraq were not worth it. We learned our lesson. Ukraine pays the price for us getting wiser. I simply think there’s more hope for the Ukraine than there is for the muslim world. Our assistance helped turn around Korea, Japan and Germany. All were structured societies and educated.
It’s too late now. We’re spent.
Odd how the lists of people who financially benefit from war are all democrats... Starting with THE BIG GUY at the top all the way down to sexual weirdos getting free trans surgeries at the bottom.
yes, a permanent account to launder money for the democrats
Shouldn’t have written the first check.
Let’s fund a war so we don’t have a war will turn into let’s fight a war so we don’t have a war. Excellent logic. /s There still are no American interests in Ukraine.
“It is still unclear to me what the American vital interest in Ukraine is.”
Billions and billions for American defense contractors and millions and millions in campaign donations for American politicians. If those aren’t vital interests then I don’t know what is.

Sounds rather lovely what state?
“It is still unclear to me what the American vital interest in Ukraine is.”
It is simple... This is all about writing checks to the Military Industrial Complex forever.
The profit from war business got slow under Trump because he was getting us out of the wars. Now they are trying to catch up on what they lost.
The MIC was one of the main influences why Trump was ripped off. And why he will not be allowed to be president again. He is simply bad for business.
Kentucky. South Central rural.
The cool thing about social security is it’s a United States thing, not an individual state thing. What that means is that how much you get when you retire is based on what you earned not where you live. So I spent 46 years in a tier one environment for I earned tier 1 wages as a computer specialist. Some years I earned more than what applies to social security payments. So I’m making fairly close to the maximum social security payout, and my wife gets half of that again, yet I live in a state where I can live comfortably on $1,200 a month. But the reason I’m able to do that is because my expenses are so absurdly low.
It basically means we spend about a third as much every month just living as we actually get from social security. Yet, if I lived in Seattle my social security would barely pay my house payment or my rent. Not to mention my real estate taxes.
I cannot emphasize enough just how freeing it is when your cost of living is so close to zero. I don’t even think about ways to make money. I’ve got more important stuff to worry about that’s a lot more fun and productive.
Ukraine might be freer under Putin or Xi than under Zelenskyy. At this point. America deserves Biden and World War for voting in Biden—or letting a crooked election stand. We fell into Nancy P.s trap on Jan 6. It was our own fault—and we must pay with our freedom and tax dollars for being asleep at the ballot box lever. We must not let this happen again. Wake up and smell the coffee, America.
Larry Fink has already met with his compadre Zelenskyy to discuss the “rebuilding” of Ukraine. They’ve got big plans for those big bucks.
“We must not let this happen again. Wake up and smell the coffee, America.”
That frog has done been boiled, we are not getting it back. Now we need to figure out how best to deal with our new reality. Free and fair elections are gone, and whether we vote for a D or an R there is no difference. They are all in the pockets of the MIC and globalists.
