Shares of vaccine makers moved lower Monday after Pfizer's finance chief predicted weaker demand for Covid shots this year.
Pfizer CFO David Denton said his company projects a roughly 24% Covid vaccination rate in the U.S. this year.
"Keep in mind the flu is probably closer to a 50% vaccination rate, so we haircut that pretty significantly for the year," Denton said at a JPMorgan conference.

I can almost guarantee that massive layoffs are coming for Pfizer - the lack of covid money, and several other of their exclusive drugs coming off patent very soon, means they are looking at about a $30B revenue cliff they are falling off and they have to fill - they hired and spent like crazy last few years, that won’t last long once the execs start seeing how small their bonuses are.
People are over this scam.
I wonder what their CRE exposure is as well.
If the reported number of individuals who took the two-shot vaccine and then took at least one booster is 17%, they need something of a “health crisis” or Federal mandatory vaccine program to get the numbers to climb. Yeah, I get it. Most people here will say “hell no”. Watch the rest of the country fall inline.
The fruits and nuts thrive on boosters.
They can always ask Fauci to go on TV and claim the epidemic is back.

So, grain of salt...
In my area (Northern CT) 97% of the folks in my age group (65+) got the vax at least once.
I just roll my eyes—can’t fix stupid...not worth my time to even try....
Many commercial real estate loans are long term so the requirement to refinance at higher interest rates has a major time lag.
