Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said on this week’s broadcast of FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures” that President Donald Trump will be the 2024 Republican presidential nominee.
Anchor Maria Bartiromo said, “All of that, the policies that you mentioned of the Biden administration, is one reason that Donald Trump is leading in the polls right now. What’s your take on this, that as we see more indictments of Donald Trump, he seems to be gaining in terms of popularity with the public? Will he be the nominee? ”

It’s worth noting that McCarthy and DeSantis served in Congress together.
I like DeSantis, but he was not ready for 2024. He moved faster than what he was prepared for.
A little early in the game to be making such predictions.

You may be right. That said, I have a feeling that the Biden Administration may be interfering with our primaries by using lawfare to attack Trump so we would rally behind him. Then Biden will beat Trump in the general election.
My suspicion is that Biden's internal polls are showing that DeSantis is doing better with the independents so Biden is vulnerable.
Naturally, they are shaping the election into a preferred outcome that they are expecting so Biden will be able to campaign from the basement of his home in Delaware and have the mainstream media do the campaigning for him with help from influencers on social media to help out with the propaganda.
You might be right. It’s so tough to tell what the truth is. I can only rely on forums, like this, and my own gut feelings to form my thoughts of where things are. I don’t rely on Democrat chatter, because I understand them well enough to not trust them.
Based on McCarthy’s record I would not be excited about this endorsement.

So they have one objective. Get Joe reelected in 2024. How are they going to do that?
Right now, I see that they have a plan. So far, everything is going according to plan.
