I agree with you, with some qualifications.

Let me explain what I mean.

Her activity was not something that I have a problem with. Her activity carried out in a public setting is where she went astray.

Divorce is appropriate in many circumstances. I would never expect a person to remain in an abusive marriage for example.

Now I won't pretend to know her reason for divorce, but it is beginning to appear that it is more about her personal expectations then it is about something far more serious.

But my point is that I think the Lord may himself make exceptions when it comes to the question of divorce.

Other than that I agree with your statement. đź‘Ť

Please study what the Lord says about divorce, adultery, and fornication. Now we all sin and all deal with temptation, but we conservatives are losing (have lost) the culture wars. The “right” seems laser focused on liberty these days. Liberty without morality is impossible, and that is why America is degenerating into chaos.
