An armed man accused of impersonating a U.S. Marshal was taken into custody at a Robert Kennedy Jr. campaign event in Los Angeles, California, Friday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A spokesperson from the LAPD said in a statement to ABC News that a radio call was generated around 4:30 p.m. PT reporting a man with “a loaded gun in a shoulder holster and a badge stating he was a U.S. Marshal.” LAPD officers arrived shortly after and arrested the man. The FBI was also present at the scene.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Kennedy said that members of his private security detail from Gavin de Becker and Associates "spotted and detained an armed man" who attempted to approach him during a campaign speech on Hispanic Heritage Month at the Wilshire Ebell Theater.
LAPD radio traffic on Broadcastify identified the suspect as a Hispanic male with tattoos on his arms, neck and hands.
“The suspect never brandished the gun or threatened anyone. He was taken to Wilshire Station where there was talk of [the] FBI possibly handling,” said the LAPD.
It was later decided that the LAPD would remain the lead agency on the case and that the suspect would “probably be booked on a gun charge,” according to the station’s Watch Commander.
Further booking information on the suspect was not readily available.

So, what is going on? I figured Kennedy wanted Secret Service protection out of family fear and it makes him seem more relevant as a wanna be candidate. But what happened here? An armed man is no big deal, I go everywhere I can armed. But here was an armed "Hispanic male with tattoos on his arms, neck and hands" impersonating a federal officer. And the current conclusion, "the suspect would “probably be booked on a gun charge".
So what bucket to they put this Hispanic adult male in? MAGA? Illegal alien? Democrat? Gang member? Stupid?
One would think the impersonation of a federal officer would be a slam dunk charge. Also weird that the suspect is not identified.
Sounds like maybe a cartel member? And yeah, impersonating a Fed should be a given here, one would think…

Kennedy could make this next election quite interesting. Not that interesting elections are a good thing. (Same goes for the uninteresting ones.)
I hope he is not the nominee of his party. However, he might pry open a few minds on the left, along with peeling off a few votes.
The tattoos are certainly distinctive and appear to make it look gang related.
Which agency does he work for?
I'm gonna guess 'FBI informant' or 'known to the FBI'.
Most likely they drove him to the event which is why they were in the vicinity when he got arrested.

(Side note: that top source also reports that Tim Mellon, an 81yo WY billionaire is strong on illegal immigration and actually funded Abbott for the promise of putting those barriers up. Of course, that would explain why Abbott would do so but in a manner that reportedly made them utterly useless.)

The man had tattoos on the neck and arms. Nothing wrong with tattoos but wonder if he is not an illegal border jumper and part of a gang. Perhaps.
He is there to peal votes from trump as an independent.
The only reason RFK Jr isn’t leading in the polls is that not enough people know that he is running. They can’t keep it secret forever.

Robert Kennedy — and the Biden regime REFUSES to provide RFK Jr. with secret service protection! How dare RFK Jr. challenge the Biden regime and the Democrat Party establishment! And what is their excuse? They provide none! And the vast majority of the Democrat Party media don’t give a damn.
