During an interview aired on Thursday’s broadcast of SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show,” 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump stated that he doesn’t know who gave Dr. Anthony Fauci a presidential commendation during the Trump administration, and “I wouldn’t have done it.”
Host Megyn Kelly said, “For years, you’ve been saying that the reason you didn’t fire Anthony Fauci was because he’d been there for a long time, that you would’ve taken heat, that it would’ve created a firestorm, quoting your words. Then, for the first time in May –.”

Trump conveniently seems to choose to interpret “give” as physically handing it to Fauci, but a presidential commendation presumably can’t be given without him signing off on it—so not a good look.
But DeSantis doesn’t get anything out of this except perhaps a bit of petty revenge.

I blame Mike Pence who obviously was in collusion with Deep State sabotage of Trump.
I don’t doubt that at all. It isb100% clear that Trump wasn’t in control beyond January 6th. It’s a pretty big scandal. They took control of the government.
Are you saying Trump is lying? You don’t think there is any possibility someone on thr president’s staff or pence could have done this without Trump’s knowledge? Do you have any proof of that or are you just doing what you can to help biden? Like that reno freak.

In that same interview, however, IMHO Trump does a bang up job of explaining why he didn't fire Fauci (or others). Trump lists the many dirt bags he did fire as proof that he wasn't afraid to fire people, but the deep state kept some of their boys too protected to be fired. If Trump were to give some details of how that works in the deep state and what must be done to change it, he'd have a very winning message. Until then, this is a ding on Trump's record.
Megyn is a bulldog with Trump on the COVID psy ops and has a right to be. At her last physical examination, her doctor informed her she had an autoimmune disease, a disease that she had never had before. When she asked her doctor whether it could be attributed to the COVID shot, the doctor said yes and that she had seen other patients with the same disease.
Maybe the same person who made him the face of the administration’s COVID response?
Who blames Trump for Covid vax injuries? When did he make them mandatory? He promoted ivermectin and HCQ
Looking at his credentials....I’d say 90% of us would have hired Fauci. No one has his credentials.
It’s probable that presidents don’t make most of the decisions about awards. Or much of anything for that matter as is now clear.
The Deep State must have mind-controlled the Donald. Only explanation of Pence, half the cabinet, those crazy lawyers, and, now, Fauci.
