Meagan Wolfe, the administrator of the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC), has suffered another setback in her struggle to hang on to her office as the chief election official.
On Sept. 11, the five-member state Senate Committee on Shared Revenue, Elections, and Consumer Protection voted 3-1-1 to recommend that the full Senate hand Ms. Wolfe her walking papers over allegations of partisan behavior within her role.
Voting against Ms. Wolfe's nomination were Republican Sens. Dan Knodl, Dan Feyen, and Romaine Quinn. Sen. Mark Spreitzer, a Democrat, was the lone committee member to vote to reappoint Ms. Wolfe to a second four-year term. Democrat Sen. Jeff Smith abstained.

Following the audit report, a parade of Wisconsinites from all over the state took the witness chair to speak against Ms. Wolfe continuing on as WEC administrator.
Most of her detractors told the hearing that, based on what they consider her mishandling of the 2020 election, ordinary citizens have lost trust in Ms. Wolfe’s ability to fairly administer the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

She allowed Zuckerberg’s minions access to voter files.
Will some Surrender Monkey please remind us, in her/his most heartfelt screech that “Waaaa Republicans never fight back and always roll over for the rodents”?
p
Crooked pol runs a crooked election helping steal the 2020 election and all she gets is “walking papers.”
What a country.
Thanks for posting/ping. I was trying to find a relatively balanced article about this to post, but the two main Wisconsin newspapers are socialist rags, so it was a waste of bandwidth.
She should be getting much MORE of a punishment than just losing her job.
Colluding with Zuckerberg in 2020? Yep.
Partisan hack? Yep.
This is too little too late- Her term was over 8/1 and she should have been bounced then. In the interim Ms Wolfe was able to convince 2 GOPe weasels in September WEC meeting to vote for a process which has a very high probability of removing President Trump from Wisconsin ballot.
If they were serious and committed, they would have had her out the minute her term expired 8/1/2023
The real question: will it change anything?
Forget all of this. DeSantis wants us to move on from 2020.
“The real question: will it change anything?”
If the State of Wisconsin prosecuted her for voter fraud, put her in prison for a long sentence, then maybe.
Notice how people like this ‘may’ loose a job but never do real time for the injury they created. Funny how someone not even at a protest gets 20 years of jail, while someone who actually violated the trust of an entire state and withdrew the civil rights of millions, just ‘may’ loose a job.
Don’t worry, the Democrats will get her a big book deal like Comey (FBI) or a CNN spot (like McCabe) and it will just happen again.
Well, she checks all the boxes for being an election rigger.
I want legitimate elections. One citizen votes for one candidate one time, with zero possibility for fraud.
This could very possibly secure WI for Trump, who only “lost” the state by 10k fraudulent votes.
“This could very possibly secure WI for Trump, who only ‘lost’ the state by 10k fraudulent votes.”
That’s what we’ve been saying. :(
