A bit like the Elio, which started out conceptually as a gas vehicle, but they decided to drink the electric Kool-aid.
I don’t think they’re in production yet, and probably never will be.
A top speed of 28 mph makes it pretty much useless. Artery streets have speed limits from 35 to 45 mph, and one of these would draw the wrath of other drivers for blocking traffic.
A “car”, which is used to occupy a lane of a roadway, needs a top speed of 50 mph at least.
They will be driving on the sidewalk every chance they get.
By 2030, there will be no more pedestrians.
Yesterday, on the sidewalk of my downtown Seattle suburb, I encountered a miniature Formula One racer (electric - and, minus the rear wing), going about 30 mph, an Asian teenager behind the wheel, with a friend trailing behind on an electric bike.
These things are lethal weapons on the sidewalk.
Here that is what we travel at.
Really.
And there are millions of scooters here.
Not for every place, but perfect for here.
But … NEEDS AIR CON
For real
Golf cart re-invented
Muggers everywhere will go for this, IMHO. /SARC
How to get out in a crash? It had a peel back lid like a can of corn.
Electric can opener
Technically classified as a quadricycle.
Top speed of 28 mph and an understated 2.2 kW (3 horsepower) electric motor.
Lol... “Miniature Formula One Racer”...
That gave me a good guy laugh this morning... I know what you’re saying, butbid be in the streets of my sub and on the shoulder if I took it down the road a bit to my local 7 11... I’m the same with my bicycle. Side walks are for walks, not even bikes unless they’re little kids with training wheels...
Guy = gut
Will it have the range for all 18 holes? A new ClubCar retails for $9500.

Just what the world needs. Another Yugo.
I couldn’t use this vehicle to shop for groceries, which usually requires taking several small Igloo coolers with Blue Ice in order to keep the perishables protected from the heat here in Texas.
I think it will go 100 km.
My wife was already advocating for a Vinfast, but this looks absolutely perfect.
C’mon December
No need to. Will just scrape you off the pavement with a shovel.
Not very practical. I have a little electric 3 wheel ‘pickup truck’ for hauling stuff around the compound with about the same performance specifications (even has a dump bed if I want to haul dirt or rocks.) easily triple the cargo space of this ‘car’... Cost me $1500 total brand new.
I wonder how one of those would do in a crash with, say, a ford f 250?
