California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is planning a trip to China to meet with officials in an effort to boost climate cooperation.

Newsom is working with the Biden administration to organize the trip, he said Tuesday in an interview with Politico at the California Museum in Sacramento.

“The imperative of maintaining a relationship on climate with China is about the fate and future of this planet,” Newsom said. “It’s too important; it’s another example where California needs to lead.”

LOL, an example of an issue where California needs to lead.

California leads on homosexuality, all this transgender surgery business, as well as various social pathologies.

It’s not exactly a good thought, for him to proclaim that California leading the way on some issue, is a good thing.

If this is really about CA public pension funds, that is a distraction.

Note to CA’s public employees: Trump was the best thing that ever happened to the solvency of your pension funds. Now you’re dependent on Deep State giving a crap about your pension issues.

Good luck with that.

That’s not his job. That’s really a campaign trip. The taxpayers should not be picking up the tab.

A state Governor has no such reasons to make any such trip.

In all honesty, we should sell CA to China.
They would clean up the crime and the ferals overnight.
They would rebuild the roads.

…to boost his international stature.

Don’t kid yourself.

He’s a shoe in to get China’s approval.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is planning a trip to China to meet with officials in an effort to boost climate cooperation.

Then he will claim this on his resume as "International Experience" when he is pleading with the superdelegates to be the one to replace Biden.

“Newsom planning China trip to boost climate cooperation”

Now that they’ve decided to jettison Biden, pretty much EVERYTHING that a potential replacement does has to be viewed that way.

Going to China - most likely to discuss things much more important than ‘climate’, and regardless China doesn’t take any crap from us on ‘climate’, so that objective is futile, and he fully understands that.
