A major shipyard in Russian-controlled Crimea caught fire in a late-night Ukrainian missile attack, according to officials there.

Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Russia-installed governor of Sevastopol, posted a photo of the fire on Telegram on Wednesday morning.

"All emergency services are working on the site, there is no danger to civilian objects in the city," Razvozhayev said.

"As a result of the attack, according to preliminary information, a total of 24 people were injured," he continued.

The Russian Ministry of Defense later said in a Telegram message that the fire at Sevastopol Shipyard was caused by a Ukrainian missile strike.

The message accused the Ukrainian armed forces of firing 10 cruise missiles at the shipyard and launching three sea drones at Russian ships in the Black Sea.

According to Russia's Ministry of Defense, the Russian forces managed to shoot down seven missiles and destroy all the drones.

"As a result of being hit by enemy cruise missiles, two ships undergoing repairs were damaged," said their Telegram message.

Several videos of what appeared to be the missile strike were also uploaded to X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday.

The Kyiv Post, for instance, posted a video showing a massive fireball lighting up the night, along with what appeared to be an image of a port engulfed in a fiery inferno.

I know that our MI6 juvenile delinquants who think up this stuff think it’s very funny. We can all have a good laugh, but we oughtto keep in the back of our minds that naval shipyards in the US is just as vulnerable to such an attack. Just a thought. Course there is a huge moral difference between us and Russia here because we are not the one’s doing the attacking with western arms. Our proxy is.

Haha, Russia carries out daily bombardments of Ukrainian civilian and shipping infrastructure and whines like the whiniest Instagram Karen when Ukraine hits a legitimate target.

Tear-stained vatnik retards please note, the minute Putin’s dumbass military commanders decided that even Ukrainian grain stores at grain shipping ports hundreds of miles west of the conflict zone that have no military assets in them were Russkie fair game, the ports inside the conflict zone with Russkie military wessels docked them became de-facto fair game.

Ukraine doesn’t need to be “accused” when it’s merrily targeting legitimate military targets. If Russia doesn’t like them apples maybe it should’ve stuck to targeting ONLY the active belligerent military assets in Donbas. The diehard Azovs who refused to observe the armistices and ceasefires before February 2022.

(Goes back to check how many Russia thought there were)

Yup, all 1500 of them. Easily a two day SMO. Russia’s illegitimate mission creep is a bitch, and so is karma.

So they weren’t targets at some point in the past? We don’t defend to mainland very well against most threats.

Was the choice of late at night for the attack made to minimize casualties?
