I rise today to serve notice. Mr. Speaker, you are out of compliance with the agreement that allowed you to assume this role. The path forward for the House of Representatives is to either bring you into immediate total compliance or remove you, pursuant to a motion to vacate the chair.
I know that Washington isn’t a town where people are known for keeping their word. Speaker McCarthy, I’m here to hold you to yours.

OH SNAP
Was this before or after McCarthy “ordered” the committee to open an impeachment inquiry?
That’s not what he said, although I wish it was.
What did he promise to do that he didn’t do?
He’ll get the 218 needed with democrats voting for him. I can see it now.
“Was this before or after McCarthy “ordered” the committee to open an impeachment inquiry?”
After
“What did he promise to do that he didn’t do?”
Gaetz says in the video.
Individual bills, releasing the J6 tapes, etc.
“That’s not what he said, although I wish it was.”
He suggested it at the end
gaetz is a pain...that keeps on taking...
Of course. the left has it’s cuck in the Kali RINO
Very well said. Would love to hear a rebuttal. We need a bomb thrower speaker who is ready to be blamed for everything and who relishes the thought.
I generally like Gaetz, but unfortunately he doesn’t have more than a handful of votes for an alternative to McCarthy.
Time for Republicans to start their hissy fits so nothing gets done under their watch ... but you just wait till the next election ... it will be a red tsunami ...
If will only continue to accelerate if responsible governance does not replace the reckless governance both parties are currently practicing.
I'm behind you 150% Matt Gaetz. 👍
ditto!
You are an idiot if you think so
bkmk
He could get all the democrats to vote with him for Hakeem Jeffries.
Did Gaetz vote for McCarthy? No he didn’t. He and five others voted present on the 15th ballot. Their voting present on this ballot enabled the other Republicans to elect McCarthy. In contrast, every Democrat on every ballot - except one ballot in which one Democrat was absent - voted against.
McCarthy has the challenge of getting things done with a razor thin majority and with a half dozen members or so of the Republican caucus who are willing to vote against bills that aren’t good enough from their perspective; and, an opposition party that is 100 percent united.
