Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that the House GOP members are “cheapening” impeachment if they open an inquiry into President Joe Biden.
Co-host Jonathan Lemire said, “There is new reporting today that House Speaker McCarthy is going to endorse the idea of an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. It’s not quite clear if he has the votes, but there’s a sense if he were to secure as many, that’d lead beyond an inquiry to impeachment. Do you think that is an appropriate step for your fellow Republicans to take?”
Christie said, “Look, what I’ve said is, there is a lot of smoke around the Hunter Biden and Joe Biden business relationships. We need to have a thorough investigation of it.”

The clear and present reason for impeachment is Bribery to the tune of $50MM at last count. Laundered in a network of shell companies and sprinkled throughout the Biden clan, including juvenile grandchildren.

First answer, "Christie is an idiot." His statements and his behavior indicate that he is out of touch with reality.
Second answer, "Perhaps Christie is sending a message to the Deep State that he is a GOP candidate that is both loyal to the Deep State and can win the General Election." Christie is saying to the Deep State, "I can carry the vote of those in the GOP that are unaware of the Marxist revolution underway in America." You might call it the "Brian Kemp, Jay Raffensperger, Asa Hutchinson, Lindsey Graham wing of the GOP. Christie is also saying, "AND I can carry the lukewarm independent vote and even the non-radical (conservative-ish) Democrat vote that might go to RFK, Jr."
If they can put demented Joe Biden in office, there's no reason they can't drag 2-Ton Christie over the line.

So rank and file GOP, are you ever going to take your party back? Get rid of your Uni Party Rinos? I doubt it. From what I see that would take hard work.
