Gun violence has been declared a public health emergency in New Mexico following the death of an 11-year-old boy.
New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham made the announcement following the death of a young boy in a shooting on a highway. Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina confirmed in a press briefing that a boy was killed and a second woman was taken to hospital in critical condition. They were attacked while traveling westbound on Avenida Cesar Chavez near University Boulevard. Neither of the victims have been named.

That would only affect about half the drivers in New Mexico.

Looks like the governor of NM needs to be impeached or removed with extreme prejudice.

The Democrats have been trying to use this “health emergency” BS for 30 years so they can avoid pesky little things like trying to pass legislation or get the courts to rule by decree. It won’t work this time, just like it hasn’t worked before. Even Democrats are saying this is an unconstitutional overreach and won’t stand.

In response to Lieu’s tweet, Grisham unleashed a sassy retort claiming that the “conceal (sic) and open carry are state laws” that she has “jurisdiction over.”
“If you’re really interested in helping curb gun violence, I’d welcome you to join our next police academy class,” Grisham tweeted.
Thank goodness trump paved the way for this. Imagine the lives that will be saved.
