Former White House chief medical advisor Anthony Fauci said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that there were “a number of studies that show that masks actually do work” to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Anchor Jon Karl said, “There’s a new study out that suggests that masks were actually not effective, at least not in a global sense, in containing the pandemic. What is your sense looking back at all of this? Did masks prove to be less effective than you anticipated?”

Surgical masks work as well for protection against an aerosolized virus as do leather jackets against bullets.

For respiratory virus containment for general populations studies have shown masks to be useless. On the other hand, in medically controlled environments with strict protocols and the best kinds of masks they have a measurable benefit.

Bottom line, mask mandates are stupid.

What I find completely ludicrous is that no one has ever directly challenged FauxChi’s credentials and work experience. I suspect that most of America, even those that don’t like or believe FauxChi, think he is some kind of scientist. That’s absolute BS. He was an administrator, a bureaucrat. He pushed papers around and had excessive meetings about bull crap things the way all administrator do. He didn’t practice science for decades. I’m willing to bet he was forced out of the lab because everything he touched he eff’d up.

There’s a lesson everyone should learn. Anyone the posits himself as an expert while seeking time in front of every available camera does not have time to be an expert in what they proclaim they do. The financial example of this is Cramer. He’s the antipattern in investing. Do the exact opposite of what he says. FauxChi is the antipattern for immunology and infectious diseases. Do the opposite of what he says. He was an over paid attention whore. Well, the attention whore part never went away.

Remember, real experts do. They are rarely seen and the very best are nearly impossible to find to talk to.
