Former President Trump warned Blake Masters that he is likely to lose an Arizona Senate primary to Kari Lake in 2024, The New York Times reported Friday.
The Times report claims Trump called Masters on Sunday to make the blunt prediction, in what would be a move inconsistent with his 2024 strategy so far of generally staying out of down-ballot Republican races.

Kyrsten Sinema is going to be difficult to beat unless the Democrats run someone as a 3rd candidate in the race, especially if Sinema runs as an Independent.
Sinema is the incumbent, she will have a ton of money behind her, and she’s won elections before.
We are getting way ahead of ourselves here. I have no doubt Trump would win comfortably in a fair election but there is a HUGE ‘chasm’ ahead of him called election fraud. I have seen no plans to overcome it. It’s just going to be a repeat of 2020.
I don’t know, the Dems have said they are running someone. This could split their vote and require at least two months delay to announce the winner (so they can create the votes needed). The question will be who do they create the votes for? The independent or the democrat? That infighting alone could take months to sort out.
She did not lose. Masters gave up way too easily. His race was stolen too but he quit without a fight. He should be right there fighting with her instead he is on the sidelines looking at his phone.
No one mentions Masters as a Gov. candidate.
If the race becomes a 3-way race, it should give the Republicans a significant advantage, so long as they don’t blow it with in fighting.
