It’s been years since Gillette came out with their toxic masculinity commercial. It’s also been years since I’ve used any Gillette product and I have no intention of ever using one again. I hope the former Bud Light drinkers do the same.
Regarding Gillette.
Nice yo meet another person who keeps boycotting P&G.
I found cheaper and better products that don’t call me a toxic male
Re: Gillette
Ditto here...Switched to Harry’s until they came up with their line of idiocy: https://www.mrctv.org/blog/harrys-mens-razor-company-uses-trans-man-aka-woman-promote-shave-set
Searching again...
(Gillette)
I will never buy one of their products again.
Unless...
Maybe if it’s at least 90 percent off on a closeout.
10 cents on a dollar sounds about right to convince me.
I never was much of a Gillette guy, I can’t remember ever owning a Gillette razor, I’m sure I’ve bought blades at some point in my shaving life of 55 years. I had a Schick razor for years then I tried Harry’s.
Harry’s was much better than the Schick, and as retailers, preCOVID even, started locking down the blades or the cost of the blades were stupid, Harry’s fixed that. Then Harry’s started filling my email with WOKE activist nonsense about what they were doing on behalf of me as a consumer of their products with a portion of the profit they were making off me and the rest of us chumps. Then they abandoned conservative media, and that was it for me.
The first day this commercial was released, I signed up and waited 8 weeks for the first delivery, and have never went back. I buy their expensive chocolate too, not so much for the candy bar but the statement it makes laying in the bowl on the coffee table when guests arrive, just ordered my second batch, the holiday entertainment season is approaching!
Watch the video, it’s a must see.
Same here. After the backlash and sales drop, the CEO doubled down on his stance. Now they can't have my toxic masculine dollars.
Don’t forget jc penney....
target....
sergento’s....
dicks.....
and so on...
I switched to safety razors and bought a box of 100 blades. Haven't had to purchase more yet, as I really only shave my neck, and not my face except once or twice a year. I use a trimmer to keep it neat.
