Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) on Friday night called for new Senate Republican leadership, citing a story that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) plans to ram Ukraine aid down the “House’s throat.”
Citing a Wall Street Journal opinion piece by Kimberly Strassel that discussed how McConnell will help Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) force the House to agree to $24 billion in aid to Ukraine.
“Mitch McConnell has been making daily floor speeches on the need for more Ukraine funding, worried Mr. McCarthy can’t get this crucial aid past House GOP spending hard-liners. So Mr. McConnell is … signing up to help Mr. Schumer ram the whole package down the House’s throat,” Strassel wrote.

ALL spending must originate there. And McCarthy has already said he will separate out Ukrainian aid for a separate vote instead of bundled with disaster relief and CR.
71% of Republican voters oppose any further aid for Ukraine.
It’s likely the House will respond to that.
And if Trump weighs in with a negative tone, it’s DOA.
Funding of Ukraine and destruction of the Nord Stream pipeline share one major thing in common … they advance the interests of the globalists as well as the interests of China (you know the China of Mitch’s in-laws.

If the Bidens got payoffs from Ukraine, stands to reason Mitch got payoffs also for favorable treatment by the Republicans.

Ukraine is not a member of NATO.
Ukraine is always so ungrateful and so entitled. We had a revealing descriptive for such presumptive behavior when I served in uniform (over 5 decades ago). I'll leave it at that.
The Ukraine war is a European war that affects Europeans in Europe. If European countries don't give support at %100, why on earth would we?
How much of our "aid" money could have benefitted our own US Military, and at a time in which the world gets increasingly unstable?
