Well, at least it wasn’t triple digits today. It’s a tiny break. LOL
It’s still a bit humid here due to a system sitting over east TN. We had a heavy downpour at the museum just as we left, and there was a decent, though short, downpour here after I got home. Might get a little more tomorrow.
At least it’s cooler for the next week. Mid 80s for a couple more days, then upper 70s or low 80s the rest of the week. Fall temps!
We were busy at the museum today but dead yesterday. One guy showed up. Today was non-stop. Rather than type it all out again, you can see how the day went in #35. I’m really tired tonight and that makes me lazy. LOL
Great tours...and a fun one with kids who are interested.
Hoping for more rain for you over the next week.
Yes, a tiny break. I didn’t get out after it hit 90. At about noon. LOL! I’m looking forward to some fallish temperatures, too. I’ll take mid 80s. That’s early fall for us. Took dang long enough. LOL!
Yesterday must have been mind-numbing with no visitors. Of course, there is always work to do around the different areas. Glad today was busy, but know you have to be ready to crash. Which, of course, I’ll have to do in a couple of hours
It was the fact they were so well-behaved - and sweet - that impressed me. We do have people show up sometimes with kids who are little terrorists and we’re all relieved when they leave. I wanted to keep these two. LOL My li’l straw farm hat is off to their parents.
I’m torn on the rain thing. If it could just rain on the beans and not on the yard, I’d be thrilled with a lot of rain. :-) At least it’s going to be comfortable and heat won’t delay mowing so much. It’s easier when the grass isn’t so tall.
Yesterday at Comanche Lake:
How's everyone doing this morning?
I’m glad the cold front is going to dive that far Tuesday. Y’all are long overdue for the break. Your kitties will be ecstatic.
Yes, it was a long day yesterday with no one going through. We found little things to do to kill some time. Cleaned a little. It was only in the upper 70s so Judy and I went for a few walks outside. Since I didn’t do much to get tired, I went ahead and mowed the back yard when I got home since it was going to rain today and that was kinda a mistake. The ol’ bum back was very cranky and the pollen had my sinuses cranked up BAD and I couldn’t sleep. I’ve been awake since 5 a.m. The pillows are already singing their siren song.
I hope you have good luck sleeping tonight since you have to get up early.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Gizmo looks happy to have gotten back out to the lake. You’re going to need to re-sole your shoes before long, being dragged all over the place. LOL
Such a dilemma...LOL!!
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
I see a happy Gizmo enjoying fun adventures...and probably glad to be outside exploring.
You guys have a great Sunday.
No, the rain hadn’t begun yet. But it was so humid that I had to change my shirt after our walk.
ML.....#50!!
