Fearing nuclear war, Musk blocked Starlink to stymie Ukraine attack on Russia

Elon Musk personally ordered SpaceX’s Starlink to hold back its satellite broadband service in parts of Ukraine, scuttling a major offensive operation by the nation against Russia, according to a biography about the billionaire tycoon.

An excerpt from the forthcoming tome by Walter Isaacson, titled Elon Musk and shared with CNN, revealed that in 2022 Ukraine planned an attack against Russian naval ships near Crimea. But as Ukraine’s explosive-laden submarine drones approached Russia's warships, they "lost connectivity and washed ashore harmlessly," the book claimed.

SpaceX CEO Musk was the reason for the lost signal: he ensured Starlink connectivity the drones were relying upon was unavailable because he feared a "mini-Pearl Harbor" would otherwise take place, according to Isaacson.

Earlier conversations with Russian officials had convinced Musk that the Kremlin would retaliate against such a Ukrainian attack with nuclear weapons, the biographer wrote.

The incident also, we're told, led Musk to deny Ukrainian requests for additional Starlink systems that could be used for offensive purposes against Russia.

If true, that is an act of sabotage benefitting the Russian Empire.

Elon Musk wanted to be paid for his Starlink system in Ukraine. Since he wasn’t paid in the beginning of the war, he probably committed these acts of sabotage to show he wasn’t happy and to force someone to pay him.

Today he is paid, and has a contract with the Pentagon. Thus, Elon the businessman, will not sabotage anything anymore in Ukraine.

...and it’s just a coincidence that allah the sudden the FAA orders Musk’s SpaceX to take 63 corrective actions on Starship, keeps rocket grounded!

I just started reading the comments over there.

The Democrat line is Elon Musk "has blood on his hands".
Because he didn't want Starlink used to kill people they think need killing.

There can be no peaceful coexistence with such people.

He’s not a war monger...Read a couple bios...he’s a pretty damn interesting person...always reaching for the stars...and believing in the things he does...until he finds they don’t work and maybe not looks for another solution. I’m curious as to what Tesla evolve into in the future...Will he just sell it??

Musk did right...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Musk did right you say?

So if you see a woman being raped and outnumbered by a gang of thugs 10 to 1, according to your philosophy you would not call the police?

“Hey, those thugs are right...”, Lets not do anything, and makes sure she can’t defend herself, and make sure she isn’t even aloud to use her hands to fight back, while your at it. She must just take it.

Protecting the illegal deeds of invaders who rape and steal, you seem to enjoy that. I don’t, because I’m a Christian conservative.

I presume you are also supporting the “defund the police” craze?

Always help the aggressor, and destroy the victim of aggressions !
It looks like the Christian mentality, and fairness is going down the drain...

Sad.

Elon Musk wanted to be paid for his Starlink system in Ukraine.

As is his right. The US government can't force Musk to donate the products and services of his company for free, any more than they can order Boeing to crank out F/A-18s for free - least of all to support a war effort in which the US is not even officially engaged. It goes without saying that Ukraine has no authority over US companies or citizens, either.

Following the terms of a contract misubject him to legal action, but Musk will be free to control HIS network as HE wishes. He is not duty-bound to follow orders, and by the way, Starlink can be controlled from anywhere on the planet.
