If Trump had dismissed Fauci in July of 2020 he would have been impeached. He would have been charged with a gross dereliction of Duty during a once-in-a-lifetime health emergency.

You bring up a good point. Trump could have been given a good briefing on pandemics in an afternoon. He isn’t stupid. But a relatively smart person could understand viruses and pandemics at a graduate school level after reading three books on the subject. It’s not hard. It’s not even really “science class.”
He did not seem to understand how viruses spread and why a coronavirus has never been “cured.”
It was actually frustrating and sad to watch him flounder.

Here’s a record from February 5, 2020 of Dr. Francis Boyle warning that Covid was an engineered, weaponized, gain of function bioweapon released in Wuhan at a World Health Organization research lab which was engaging in biological warfare and that the CDC and swamp creature scientists that Trump was accepting counsel from had participated with the very biological warfare research that had been unleashed.
