Of course he does. These power craving pols preach on the virtues of their government and ignore the lessons of our foundering fathers Like Washington or historical figures like Cincinnatus who gave us the model of civic virtue in regards to power.

It’s telling that MSM is terrified that worthless Mitch will be gone. He has become a full blown rat collaborator and they don’t want to lose him

Get him a couple of right-policy-committed assistants to guide him day to day, until a “R” governor is in control.

You know, like what the RATs are doing with Joe and lefty advisers.

“Virtue” and “virtue signaling” are totally different concepts. Mitch is signaling that “Nobody gonna push us old curmudgeons around, we do what we want!” Like that were some kind of virtue.

Probably a good 20% or more of our elected legislative members are well beyond their expiration dates, and have grown stale and moldy. Another 30% are on the verge of achieving that status.

Reminds of a line from a very old Woody Allen movie (paraphrased):

He is trying to seduce a hot woman and he says to her “What the politicians are trying to do to us is what I want to do to you...”

> The way congress established term limits on the presidency <

When that amendment was passed, the current president (Harry Truman) was exempt. Only future presidents were affected.

That’s the only way Congress will accept term limits. Current members must be exempt - as unpleasant as that may be.

He stopped Garland from getting on SCOTUS and paved the way for ACB and Kavanaugh. Mitch can stay as long as he wants.
