'The city we knew, we're about to lose': Eric Adams says New York City's migrant crisis will DESTROY the Big Apple as he warns that 10,000 illegal asylum seekers arriving EVERY month will flood EACH of the five boroughs

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has torn into the migrant crisis crippling the Big Apple - which he warned will 'destroy' the city without urgent action.

Speaking to furious residents at a town hall meeting on Wednesday, he admitted he doesn't see a solution to the problem as he slammed the lack of help from Joe Biden.

'Let me tell you something, New Yorkers. Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to. I don't see an ending to this,' he conceded. 'This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City.'

The former top cop grew emotional as he talked about buses of migrants arriving on a near-daily basis, with over 10,000 arriving every month. Upwards of 110,000 are littered across the metro, and Adams' office has estimated the issue will cost New York City $12billion over three years.

Authorities are concerned that without an exit ramp, the situation could soon reach boiling point as furious protestors have clashed on the streets of the Five Boroughs while more and more migrants are left homeless by the limited space.

The migrant crisis has plagued Adams' time as mayor since he took office in January 2022, and the former police officer warned Wednesday the problem is only getting worse.

'We're getting 10,000 migrants a month,' he said. 'Now we're getting people from all over the globe have made their minds up that they're going to come through the southern part of the border and come into New York City.'

The city has a legal obligation to give shelter to those to make their way to the metro, and Adams has desperately turned to a variety of city landmarks, makeshift shelters and temporary housing as short-term solutions.

The stupid, it hurts. Absolutely no concept of consequences for past big talk and actions. Arrogant Democrat New Yorkers let their big mouths write a check that their azzes can't cash.

Go paint a mural on a street or have your DA persecute one of your city's best developers, why don't you, Mr. Mayor.

Gee, maybe Adams ought to be demanding Biden close the borders.

Whites sitting trying to get on the court. laguna is still mostly upper class white, but the illegals and others swarm the beaches and the cleanliness habits of many latins is not what was usual in the US even in Laguna Beach.

Wow thats where I grew up, Queens. First Bayside then Woodside then Sunnyside which is where James Caan grew up. I was there around 5 years ago and Woodside is like illegal alien central now. They actually has signs posted underneath the 7 train warning women not to walk alone at night because of rape. And think of all the heat Trump got when he said rapists were coming across the border. He was 100% right.

I grew up in the 1960s, 1970s I wasnt really into baseball back then but I absolutely remember kids playing stickball in the street. My mom would let me play outside by myself when I was 5 never had any trouble. Today I assume I would be kidnapped by one of the sex traffickers Biden allows to flood into the country.

New York City and their creepy nose in the air stupid ‘liberals’ deserve this... so do the asshats living on Martha’s Vineyard.

They also deserve the criminals and thugs they’ve nurtured at the expense of normal traditional Americans.

Keep voting democrat New Yorkers and we’ll all applaud when your city goes under. When Florida and Texas were suffering you jerks were insufferable ... really we need to send them a few million more illegals.

GOOD!

The only way Democratic Party members will EVER change their ways is for something beyond cataclysmic to happen. One example: The Japanese Emperor went along with his Samurai Generals and Admirals for decades prior to August 6, 1945.

Then, his mind mellowed a little until 3 days later when Nagasaki was bombed killing tens of thousands more. THEN, he changed and surrendered.

I’m not saying NUKE the Democrats but only when something catastrophic happens will any of their marxist/socialist ideas CHANGE. Don’t tell me I’m dreaming. I already know it.

He seems to have stopped blaming DeSantis and Abbott for his invasion concerns. Maybe he will acknowledge that the FedGov is flying in planeloads every night to the smaller airports.

They need to be sent back to their respective countries with an elimination in foreign aid to those nations as payment.

Nope - MEXICO!!

That's how they got here.

They should have gotten 'asylum' in the FIRST country they came to.

Here is what Texas deals with on a daily basis.
May 15, 2023 — In the days before Title 42 ended late Thursday night, immigration agents had about 10,000 encounters a day with migrants at the southern border ...

Why would you send them to Mexico for asylum?

They've already broken the law by sneaking in here.

They don't deserve asylum or refugee status.

Just send them back where they came from.

Marx accused Bakunin of being right-wing at heart, because the total anarchy that he proposed, Marx said, would inevitably lead to a harsh autocracy. Dinkins’ mis-rule lead to Rudy Giuliani’s renaissance, and Beam’s and Lindsay’s irresponsible spending led to Ed Koch’s relative austerity. But thus far, no autocracy or dictatorship in NYC, because of the resilience of American democratic traditions. But Bakunin was proposing anarchy in Russia, which was more likely to lead to a right-wing dictatorship. Instead, they got a left-wing dictatorship, which was worse.
